Choosing your class is one of the first important decisions you will make in Yulgang W MMORPG. The game currently gives you five main classes to choose from: Bladesman, Swordsman, Spearman, Healer, and Archer. Each class has its own playstyle, so the right choice really depends on how you want to play.

In this Yulgang W Class Tier List 2026, I’ll go through all five classes and explain which ones I think are the best for beginners, farming, survivability, ranged damage, and party content. I’m mainly looking at how easy each class is to use during the early game and how useful it can be for new and free-to-play players.

Keep in mind that this isn’t a ranking you have to follow exactly. Yulgang W’s beginner information suggests that all five classes can level effectively without having a major disadvantage. So, if you really like a particular class, you can absolutely choose it and still make good progress.

Yulgang W Class Tier List 2026

Here is my current ranking for the five Yulgang W classes:

S Tier

  • Bladesman
  • Healer

A Tier

  • Archer
  • Spearman
  • Swordsman

I’m ranking these classes mainly around early-game progression, farming, survivability, ease of use, and value for newer players.

As you progress further, however, equipment, skills, Gems, Pets, stats, and your overall build can have a huge effect on how strong your character becomes. So don’t treat this list as a permanent ranking for every single piece of content.

S Tier — Bladesman

If you’re completely new to Yulgang W and don’t know which class to choose, Bladesman would be my first recommendation.

Bladesman is a melee class that focuses on durability and reliable close-range combat. What I like about it for beginners is that you don’t need a complicated setup to start getting value from the class.

You can simply get into combat, attack enemies, and rely on your survivability while farming.

This is particularly useful if you plan on using the game’s auto-combat or AFK systems. You don’t have to constantly worry about your character getting destroyed because you made one small mistake.

Why I Like Bladesman

Bladesman is especially good for players who want a straightforward experience.

I’d recommend it if you are:

  • A complete beginner
  • A free-to-play player
  • Looking for a melee class
  • Planning to do a lot of AFK farming
  • Interested in good survivability
  • Looking for an easy class to understand

The biggest advantage is simply how comfortable the class feels.

If you don’t want to spend your first few hours trying to understand complicated mechanics, Bladesman is probably the safest choice.

S Tier — Healer

The other S Tier class on my list is Healer.

Don’t let the name make you think that this class is only useful for keeping other players alive. Healer can also attack enemies from a distance, making the class quite flexible.

Where Healer really starts to stand out is in group content.

If you’re playing with other players, being able to provide healing and support can make you extremely valuable to your party or House.

Why Choose Healer?

I would consider Healer if you enjoy playing a support role or regularly play MMORPGs with friends.

Healer is a good choice for:

  • Beginners
  • Support players
  • F2P players
  • Party players
  • Players who enjoy ranged combat
  • Players who want an important group role

I also like that the class can still contribute damage while providing support.

If you normally enjoy being the player who keeps everyone else alive during difficult fights, Healer is definitely worth considering.

A Tier — Archer

Moving into A Tier, we have Archer.

Archer is probably one of the classes I’d recommend most to players who enjoy ranged combat and farming.

Instead of standing directly next to enemies, you can attack them from a distance. This can make regular monster farming much more comfortable, especially when you’re leaving your character to farm automatically.

Why Choose Archer?

One of the biggest advantages of Archer is its ability to deal damage from a safe distance.

If an enemy dies before it reaches you, you’re obviously taking less damage.

I’d recommend Archer if you are:

  • A solo player
  • Interested in ranged DPS
  • Looking for an AFK farming class
  • Interested in fast attacks
  • Focused on monster farming
  • More comfortable fighting from a distance

The downside is that Archer isn’t quite as forgiving when enemies get close.

If your equipment isn’t strong enough and enemies start reaching you consistently, the class can feel less comfortable than something like Bladesman.

Still, if you enjoy ranged characters, Archer is a very solid choice.

A Tier — Spearman

Next up is Spearman, which is more focused on aggressive melee combat.

Compared with Bladesman, Spearman puts more emphasis on offensive power. The class also has Rage-related mechanics that can improve its combat performance.

This makes Spearman more appealing if your main goal is to hit enemies hard rather than simply survive everything they throw at you.

Why Choose Spearman?

I’d recommend Spearman to players who enjoy being aggressive.

It’s a good fit for:

  • Melee DPS players
  • Aggressive players
  • Close-range combat fans
  • Damage-focused players
  • Players who enjoy managing Rage
  • Players who want a more offensive playstyle

The main thing to remember is that Spearman can take a little more time to understand compared with Bladesman.

Once you become comfortable with its mechanics, though, it can be a very strong class.

If your idea of fun is running directly into a group of enemies and dealing as much damage as possible, Spearman could be the class for you.

A Tier — Swordsman

The final class on the list is Swordsman.

Swordsman is another melee option, but its playstyle is different from both Bladesman and Spearman.

One of its notable strengths is its combination of damage and evasion.

This makes the class interesting if you don’t want to rely entirely on raw defense and instead prefer a more evasive combat style.

Why Choose Swordsman?

Swordsman is a good option for players who are willing to spend more time developing their character.

I’d recommend it if you:

  • Like melee combat
  • Enjoy evasive gameplay
  • Want good damage potential
  • Prefer a class with its own unique strengths
  • Plan to play for the long term

For a brand-new player who simply wants the easiest possible start, I’d still choose Bladesman first.

However, if you enjoy the Swordsman’s playstyle, there is no reason to avoid it just because it’s in A Tier. With proper equipment, stats, skills, and progression, it can become a strong character.

Which Yulgang W Class Is Best?

This really comes down to what you want to do in the game.

There isn’t one class that is automatically the best at everything. In fact, the official beginner information indicates that all five classes can level effectively.

For a quick comparison, this is how I’d choose:

  • Best overall beginner class: Bladesman
  • Best support class: Healer
  • Best ranged farming class: Archer
  • Best aggressive melee class: Spearman
  • Best evasive melee class: Swordsman
  • Best simple AFK farming class: Bladesman
  • Best party class: Healer
  • Best solo ranged class: Archer

If you’re still completely unsure, I’d personally start with Bladesman.

It gives you a straightforward melee playstyle, good survivability, and doesn’t require you to understand too many mechanics immediately.

Yulgang W Beginner Tips

Your class is important, but it isn’t the only thing that determines how strong your character becomes.

Your equipment, skills, Gems, Pets, stats, and overall progression will all have a major impact on your Power.

Focus on ATK Early

During the early levels, I’d recommend focusing heavily on ATK.

Having more attack power means you can kill monsters faster, which is particularly useful when you’re farming or progressing through story content.

Once you reach around Level 30, you can start adjusting your attributes more specifically around your chosen class.

Upgrade Your Main Equipment

Don’t ignore your equipment.

As you progress through the game, stronger equipment will make a huge difference in both your damage and survivability.

Rather than spreading your resources across everything at once, I’d focus on the equipment you’re actually using for your main build.

Use the Right Gems

Gems can also contribute to your overall Power.

Try to use Gems that complement your equipment and your class rather than randomly placing every Gem you obtain.

As your build develops, you can start paying more attention to which stats are actually helping your character.

Develop Your Pet

Your Pet is another part of your overall progression.

Make sure you’re developing your Pet instead of completely ignoring the system. The additional Power can help your character as you move into harder content.

Complete EXP Dungeons

If you want to level efficiently, don’t forget about the EXP Dungeons.

Try to complete them regularly whenever you can. Extra experience can make your progression much smoother, especially during the early and mid game.

Find Good AFK Farming Locations

Since Yulgang W has auto and AFK-friendly gameplay, finding a good farming location is important.

You don’t necessarily want to pick the strongest monster you can find.

Instead, look for an area where your character can kill enemies consistently without constantly dying.

For AFK farming, consistency is usually more useful than simply fighting the hardest enemies available.

Join a House

If you want to participate in more social and group-focused content, consider joining a House.

This can be particularly useful if you’re playing Healer or simply enjoy working together with other players.

Which Class Should F2P Players Choose?

If you’re planning to play completely or mostly free-to-play, I would personally lean toward Bladesman or Healer.

Bladesman gives you a comfortable solo experience because of its survivability, while Healer provides strong value when you’re playing with other people.

Archer is also a great option if your main goal is farming from a distance.

The important thing is not to assume that an S Tier class will automatically make your account stronger than someone playing an A Tier class.

Good equipment, proper progression, and understanding your class can make a much bigger difference as you get further into the game.

For my current Yulgang W Class Tier List 2026, I’m putting Bladesman and Healer in S Tier, with Archer, Spearman, and Swordsman in A Tier.

Bladesman is my overall recommendation for beginners because it’s simple, durable, and comfortable for farming. Healer is the better choice if you enjoy supporting other players and participating in group content.

If you’re a ranged player, I’d go with Archer. If you want aggressive melee combat, Spearman is worth trying, while Swordsman is a nice option if you prefer evasion and want to develop your character over the long term.

But honestly, don’t let a tier list completely decide your character.

Yulgang W gives all five classes a viable path through the game, so if one class looks more fun to you, go ahead and play it. A class that you actually enjoy using is usually going to be a better choice than a supposedly stronger class that you don’t enjoy.
