For England serves as the final mission in 007: First Light and acts as the culmination of everything you’ve learned throughout the campaign. Unlike several earlier chapters that encouraged creative gadget usage and multiple infiltration methods, this mission strips many of those advantages away and forces Bond to rely on stealth, environmental awareness, and quick decision-making.

While there are fewer challenges than some of the previous chapters, many of them are tied to difficult stealth sequences, combat encounters, and the final boss fight. Several challenges can also be combined during the same run, making efficient planning extremely important if you’re aiming for 100% completion and the chapter’s Completionist reward.
Understanding the Challenge Structure
Most of the major category challenges are tied to smaller objectives.
Pacifist: For England requires:
- Lock, Stock, and 1 Trapped Hostile
- Bring a Fist to a Gun Fight
Ghost: For England requires:
- The Great Escape
- Be Q-uiet
- All Smoke and Mirrors
Assault: For England requires:
- Technomage
- Untouchable
Completing every challenge in the mission unlocks the Completionist reward.
Escaping the Prison Cell
Lock, Stock, and 1 Trapped Hostile
The first challenge appears almost immediately during the prison escape sequence.
As enemies begin entering the area, grab one of them and throw him into an empty prison cell. Once he is inside, immediately interact with the control button beside the cell door.
Timing matters here because the enemy can escape if you wait too long.
When the door closes and successfully traps the hostile inside, the challenge will complete.
Escaping Null Space Without Detection
The Great Escape
This is the first major stealth challenge of the mission.
Unlike many earlier chapters, Bond has no gadgets and no Q-Scan during this sequence. Success depends entirely on observation and patience.
As soon as the checkpoint begins, enter the open doorway positioned on the left side of the room.
Inside, you’ll find a broken window. Vault through it and enter the ventilation system beyond.
Remain inside the vent until you can clearly see the guard in the next room turn away from your position.
Drop down and perform a stealth takedown.
Leave the room through the doorway and enter the hallway.
Turn left and quietly approach the next guard standing near another door. Perform a second stealth takedown.
Proceed through the final doorway to finish the section.
As long as no enemy detected you during the route, The Great Escape challenge will unlock.
Filling the Security Offices With Smoke
All Smoke and Mirrors
The next challenge takes place immediately after the previous stealth sequence.
When the checkpoint begins, move directly toward the left side of the area.
A lone guard patrols this section. Eliminate him with a stealth takedown.
With the room secured, locate the ladder and climb into the rafters above the security offices.
Once on the upper walkway, search for the release valve controlling the building’s smoke system.
Activate it to flood the offices below with smoke and complete the challenge.
Clearing the Security Offices
Apex Predator
Apex Predator becomes significantly easier after completing All Smoke and Mirrors.
Once the smoke fills the room, enemy visibility drops dramatically. Guards struggle to detect Bond, allowing you to move freely between cover positions.
Systematically eliminate every guard using stealth takedowns.
The biggest challenge is actually finding all of them because the smoke affects your visibility as well.
Take your time and search every corner of the security office until every enemy has been neutralized.
Destroying Screens in the Operations Room
Reduce Your Screen Time
This is one of the simplest challenges in the chapter.
The Operations Room contains an enormous number of monitors and displays scattered throughout the environment.
Simply shoot fifty screens during your playthrough.
There are far more than fifty available, so you don’t need to hunt for specific ones. Fire at any screens you encounter while progressing through the area and the challenge will unlock naturally.
Eliminating the Snipers Without Damage
Untouchable
Untouchable is arguably one of the most difficult challenges in the entire mission.
The goal is to eliminate both snipers in the Operations Room without taking any damage.
Begin by performing a stealth takedown on the guard near the start of the section.
Move toward the stairs on the left side of the room. Nearby you’ll see a trolley positioned close to another guard.
Kick the trolley into him to score an instant environmental kill.
Continue forward until reaching the next guard. Either wait for him to approach naturally or use the lure mechanic to draw him closer before performing another stealth takedown.
Once you advance to the next cover position, the sniper encounter begins.
Immediately activate Focus mode.
For the left sniper, shoot the overhead light fixture. The falling object kills him instantly.
For the right sniper, shoot the nearby gas pipe. The resulting explosion eliminates him.
The timing window is very tight, so expect a few attempts before successfully completing the challenge.
Surviving the Elevator Showdown
Bring a Fist to a Gun Fight
After descending through the elevator shaft, the game creates what appears to be a mandatory shooting sequence.
Time slows down and enemies appear directly in front of Bond, strongly encouraging gunplay.
Ignore the prompt completely.
Instead of firing your weapon, rush the enemies and defeat them using melee attacks.
As long as no weapons are used during the encounter, the challenge will complete.
Infiltrating Q-Lab
Be Q-uiet
Q-Lab serves as the final stealth section in the game.
At first glance, the area seems intimidating because of the sheer number of enemies present. However, Bond now has access to a full collection of gadgets and environmental tools.
The safest strategy is to remain in the rafters above the laboratory for as long as possible.
From this elevated position you can observe patrol routes, deploy gadgets, and eliminate threats without exposing yourself.
Avoid hacking large attention-grabbing devices such as the jetpack, as they can reveal your position.
Stay patient and clear the area methodically before moving toward your objective.
Eliminating Enemies With Flash Mines
Technomage
Before entering Q-Lab, Bond recovers all of his equipment.
Among the available gadgets is the Flash Mine.
These devices instantly eliminate enemies when used successfully and are extremely effective throughout the laboratory.
Remain in the upper levels of the area and use Flash Mines against isolated targets.
Continue until ten enemies have been eliminated.
Because Q-Lab contains so many guards, this challenge is much easier than it initially sounds.
Destroying Multiple Targets With One Missile
Astonishing
This challenge takes place during the vehicle sequence near the end of the mission.
At one point, Bond gains access to missiles and is instructed to attack pursuing enemies.
Rather than firing immediately, wait until several enemies group together.
Launch a missile when at least three targets are close enough to be caught in the same blast radius.
Destroying all three with a single explosion unlocks the challenge.
Disabling Damien’s Suit
Fire in the Hole!
The first phase of the Damien boss fight focuses on stealth rather than direct combat.
Damien’s suit is protected by a jamming device that must be hacked through proximity.
Stay close behind him while moving around the arena.
Avoid making unnecessary movements that might reveal your position.
If you remain patient and consistently follow him, the hacking process finishes quickly.
Successfully depleting his suit using only proximity hacking completes the challenge.
Using the Turret Against Damien
Turret Aficionado
The second phase of the boss fight introduces a mounted turret.
The challenge requires damaging Damien with this first turret within two minutes.
Fortunately, the time limit is extremely generous.
As soon as the phase begins, ignore distractions and sprint directly toward the turret.
Take control of it immediately and begin firing at Damien.
Most players will unlock this challenge naturally because reaching the turret quickly is already the most effective strategy for the fight.
The Fastest Route to Completion
If you’re trying to finish every challenge efficiently, several can be earned together.
During your first run, focus on:
- Lock, Stock, and 1 Trapped Hostile
- The Great Escape
- All Smoke and Mirrors
- Apex Predator
- Reduce Your Screen Time
- Untouchable
- Bring a Fist to a Gun Fight
- Be Q-uiet
- Technomage
On a second cleanup run, focus on:
- Astonishing
- Fire in the Hole!
- Turret Aficionado
Following this approach minimizes replay time while ensuring progress toward the Pacifist, Ghost, Assault, and Completionist rewards.
As the final mission of the campaign, For England is designed to test every skill you’ve learned throughout 007: First Light. Mastering stealth routes, environmental kills, gadget usage, and boss mechanics will allow you to clear every challenge and finish Bond’s adventure with a perfect completion record.
