Dispatch Episode 4 Guide – Hacking Puzzle Solutions

Episode 4 of Dispatch doesn’t overwhelm with puzzles but challenges you with two intricate hacking sequences that are all about timing and precision. The main hurdle is trapping antiviruses carefully to gain access to critical nodes. If you’ve handled previous episodes’ hackings, this one should push your timing skills further but remain manageable.

Unlike the two previous episodes, there are not many hacking puzzles in episode 4. Only two but relatively difficult ones. It’s all about timing. You have to trap antiviruses so you can have access to where you need safely. If you have solved the previous hackings, you should be able to do both puzzles without any trouble.

Superhero Squabble in Aisle 9 kicks off in the first dispatch shift. Whatever hero you send, expect sabotage and four response options. The last choice, Activate Sprinkler System , triggers the hacking puzzle where timing is key to trap antiviruses effectively.

Your first move is to navigate up then right to activate the node with two hammers. Keep a close eye on the antiviruses – when one reaches the two right nodes, activate this node again to contain it.

Once the antivirus moves to the three nodes on the right, activate the two-hammer node a third time to trap it firmly in place.

Next, head left and activate the opposite two-hammer node. Progress forward and trigger the sprinkler system to advance the puzzle.

Return to the bottom area to activate the remaining sprinklers. Start by activating the right node with two hammers. When the antivirus is on the middle node, hit this node again.

As the antivirus heads to the two rightmost nodes, reactivate the node to trap it on the right side.

Shift left, activate the other two-hammer node, and turn on the second water sprinkler.

Return and reactivate the left-side two-hammer node to prepare for the next trap.

Now you need to trap the antivirus on the left side. Switch back to the right two-hammer node and activate it.

When the antivirus reaches the middle node again, reactivate this node to keep it contained.

As the antivirus moves to the two leftmost nodes, give the two-hammer node one last activation to seal the trap.

The antivirus should now be boxed in on the left nodes. Activate the left two-hammer node once more, then proceed to the final sprinkler activation. This will spawn the finishing node to complete the puzzle.

The antivirus should be trapped on the left nodes. Go left and activate the left two-hammer node. Then continue your path to activate the last sprinkler. When you activate the last one, the finishing node will appear.

Discern the Target introduces a different challenge: retrieving two password parts without wrestling antiviruses. Your goal here is precision in inputting a password sequence to unlock a crucial node.

Start at the locked node and input this password sequence exactly: Left, left, up, right, right, down. This opens the way so you can continue without further antivirus interference.

Once unlocked, backtrack to the main path’s leftmost section. Go up, then right.

Activate the two-hammer node encountered there. Move forward to complete the hacking sequence and finish the puzzle.

Episode 4 keeps hacking encounters minimal but sharpens your timing and observation skills. Expect this to ramp up as episode 5 cranks the puzzle count up to six, putting your hacking prowess to a tougher test.
