Once you’ve wrapped up the Explore the Church quest, you’ll receive objectives directing you to three Nodes, including the one in the Spillways. The path to the Spillways isn’t straightforward, but following the right steps will clear the way.
Make your way to the access elevator located to the left of the Vestry, which itself lies west of the village. Input the code 4563 to operate the elevator—this code becomes available during the Investigate the Lake Towers quest, but you can use it as soon as you need to progress.
From the next Glaive sync point, head right, then turn left past the burning entrance to unlock your path. Reach the elevator, call it, and enter the code 4563 to continue downward.
From there, when you reach the next Glaive sync location, head right. Then, go left from the burning entrance, open the path, and enter. You have now reached the access elevator. Use the code 4563, but make sure to call the elevator first.
When the elevator reaches the bottom, use the same code to send it back up and step out. Now you face a more intricate puzzle to get inside the High Clearance Room: a sequence of button presses across a panel with 14 inputs.
Start by pressing the far-right button in the first row, then follow this button sequence carefully:
left, down, down, left, left, left, down, right, down, right, right, down, left. This order unlocks the High Clearance Zone if done correctly.
Once inside, head right to sync the Glaive. You can unlock a shortcut here, but it’s quite confusing and doesn’t save much time, so it might be easier to continue by going left instead.
From there, simply follow the order, and you will be able to access the High Clearance Zone. Once you are inside, head right to sync the Glaive. Then, if you want, unlock the shortcut, but it is too confusing to use, so leave it and go left.
Moving left, you’ll notice some glowing enemies. Do not attack them—killing them will darken the room, obscuring your vision. Instead, skirt the enemies while unlocking the nearby memory, then descend and use a moving platform to cross right before swinging left on the grappling hook.
Carefully use your grappling hook to traverse the platforms. Along the way, you’ll find a crystal; pick it up and stand still to avoid triggering a trap above. Timing your movements here is crucial to avoid damage.
When the trap moves right, slip left and grapple upwards. Wait again for the trap to move right before crossing left. As you near the left side, jump and use RT/R1 to grapple once more. Another trap activates overhead, so remain alert.

Dodge the traps by descending carefully, then head right. Use your grappling hook on the left side, fall, then hook again on the right. Watch your trajectory and time a double jump to land safely on the right. Ahead and to your upper right is a shortcut you can grab.
From there, backtrack and take the upper-right path. Turn the valve to drain water, then move left, down, and left again. Throw the Glaive to hit two switches simultaneously, opening a path to continue right and then down.
After that, head back, and this time, go right from the upper side. Then, turn the valve, and the water will drain away. After that, go left, down, and then left again. Hurl the Glaive to activate both switches, and then head right to go down.
Advance left until you reach Anchor Node Vera . Enter and unlock the memory here. This introduces a new mechanic: throwing your Glaive like a boomerang (not hurling) and using R2/RT to grapple onto it.
Use this new ability to progress and unlock another memory. Then, perform the Revelation of Twin Sight by jumping from your position, throwing the Glaive upward, grappling to it, and diving down. A pop-up will confirm this step.
With the Revelation unlocked, head left and exit. Congratulations, you now have the Spillways Node. Only two Nodes remain to complete your objectives.
