KLETKA throws you into an immense, perilous descent within the eerie Gigastructure, where survival hinges on managing a living elevator that consumes fuel, food, and repairs. The tension here isn’t just avoiding foes but keeping this unpredictable elevator working as you navigate through hostile environments filled with strange creatures and anomalies that can turn deadly in a heartbeat.

Credits for in-game screenshots go to NeoFoxxx, providing clear glimpses into KLETKA’s haunting environments and menacing entities.

In KLETKA, you’re sentenced to descent through a sprawling Gigastructure prison. Your only means of vertical travel is the unique, sentient elevator known as KLETKA , which must be regularly fueled, repaired, and fed—if neglected, it can endanger your life as much as any enemy in the structure.

KLETKA is where the most dangerous criminals are sent, and your sentence involves descending through the depths of a massive structure called the Gigastructure. You will travel down using a living, hungry elevator known as KLETKA. The key to survival is keeping this elevator functional: it requires constant fuel, repairs, and food. If you are not careful, the elevator itself can kill you.

In this guide, you will learn about:

  • The mechanics and upkeep of the elevator KLETKA
  • Dangerous creatures lurking in the Gigastructure
  • The layout and strange rooms within the Gigastructure
  • Invaluable items you’ll discover to aid survival

The Gigastructure serves as your nightmarish playground; vast sections resemble grim apartment blocks, but the variety runs deep—from cluttered junk-filled areas to narrow corridors and trading posts where you can spend your in-game currency, bottles, to stock up or gamble.

The Gigastructure is the environment you will explore. Most areas are like apartment complexes, but you may also find rooms full of trash, narrow corridors, or even a store where you can spend bottles (the in-game currency).

Anomalies and Special Rooms

The sprawling, ever-building nature of the Gigastructure leads to strange anomalies, often marked by a distinct ⚠︎ symbol, where reality itself seems to glitch or shift in disturbing ways.

Familiar anomalies include the unsettling Checkered Corridor with its ominous fuel can at the far end, the towering black-and-white Giant Checkered Pillars, a mysterious Forest Area symbolizing elusive freedom, the grim Hangman Room, surreal zones like The Backrooms complete with exclusive creatures, and the unsettling textureless Error Room.

  • Checkered Corridor: A long, black-and-white checkered hallway with a single fuel can at the end.
  • Giant Checkered Pillars: A room filled with massive, checkered pillars.
  • Forest Area: Represents a form of “freedom” at the end of your journey.
  • Hangman Room: A room with a hanging human body in the center.
  • The Backrooms: Inspired by the famous Backrooms concept, including an exclusive creature.
  • Error Room: A room missing textures, featuring “ERROR” text instead of normal items.

Special Events

The Gigastructure floors can feature extreme environmental events that radically alter gameplay, requiring quick adaptation to survive:

  • Postsamosa: Massive sludge piles emerge following a SAMOSA event—some sludge is magnetic and can pull players in, though generally harmless.
  • Madness: Items vanish when you try to pick them up, accompanied by disorienting whispers that threaten sanity.
  • AntiGravity: Zero gravity shifts make movement unpredictable as everything floats.
  • Storm: Floors crackle with lightning that periodically electrifies the ground beneath.
  • Flooded: Water covers floors, hiding traps and risking electrocution if exposed to electrical faults.
  • Iced: Slippery surfaces challenge your footing, with dripping water forming ice on walls.
  • Inferno: Floors engulfed in flame make every step a perilous gamble.

Note that these event names may evolve as the game updates.

  • Postsamosa: After a SAMOSA event, large piles of sludge appear. These might be radioactive waste, but they will not harm you. There are also magnetic sludge piles that pull you closer.
  • Madness: Some items you try to pick up will vanish, paired with unintelligible whispers that create a feeling of insanity.
  • AntiGravity: As the name suggests, gravity stops working. Everything floats in the air.
  • Storm: Thunder and lightning fill the entire floor, periodically electrifying the ground beneath you.
  • Flooded: The floor is covered in water. This conceals traps and can become dangerous if electrical faults charge the water.
  • Iced: The floor is slippery and movement becomes difficult. Water drips, and ice forms on walls.
  • Inferno: The floor is engulfed in flames, making navigation extremely dangerous.

(Note: Some event names may not be final.)

Structures You May Encounter

Among the Gigastructure’s bizarre features, some structures stand out for their utility or danger. The Live Beer can resurrect fallen players but demands a bottle cost. The Scramble Gamble machine offers a risky chance to earn or lose bottles, dispense useful items like food preservatives, cassette tapes, or even explode in your face after a 5-bottle bet.

Understanding KLETKA

The name KLETKA translates to “Cage,” fitting for this living elevator that devours both items and occupants. Keeping this strange bio-machine operational is your lifeline—and your prison. It needs constant feeding, fuel, and repairs, and there’s no turning back, only ever deeper into the Gigastructure’s dark heart.

Inside the elevator, you will find a radio playing various songs (you can unlock more with cassette tapes). Some tracks include:

  • N_H – The Call of Khruschevka
  • Jangwa – Dark Times
  • Claude Debussy – Clair de lune
  • Erik Satie – Gymnopedie No 2
  • Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky – Valse Sentimentale, Op.51, No. 6
  • Mozart – The Marriage of Figaro

While the music might calm you, never forget that you remain a prisoner with a job to do.

Upgrade and Maintaining the Elevator

Upgrading the elevator is crucial to safe progression. Gather gears from around the Gigastructure and use a wrench—DIY repairs without tools carry heavy risks. Monitor fuel levels vigilantly, filling tanks inside the elevator with gas tanks found during your journey. A hungry or tired KLETKA may skip floors or demand flesh, occasionally consuming a teammate if left unfed, so keep it satisfied to maintain control.

Keep a close eye on the fuel. Without it, you cannot continue descending. Store spare gas tanks in the elevator and refill KLETKA whenever you find fuel.

KLETKA itself might act unpredictably. It may grow tired of stopping and skip multiple floors at once. It may become hungry, demanding flesh. If you do not feed it, it might consume a teammate. Occasionally offering pieces of flesh can keep KLETKA satisfied and cooperative.

The eerie elevator sounds are accompanied by a radio inside, serving as an atmospheric backdrop. Unlocking cassette tapes enhances the playlist with tracks ranging from synth and dark ambient artists like N_H and Jangwa to classical pieces by Debussy, Satie, Tchaikovsky, and Mozart. Despite the soothing music, the harsh reality of your captivity remains ever-present.

Gas Tank

The Gigastructure offers a range of items to discover and utilize, key among them: Bottle : The essential currency for respawns, shops, and gambling. KLETKA Enemies

The Gigastructure is fraught with enemies demanding varying strategies. Recognizing their behaviors and exploiting their weaknesses is critical to survival. Each foe shapes your approach, making every encounter a test of your wits and reflexes.

Samosbor

Samosbor isn’t a conventional enemy but a catastrophic, unstoppable environmental menace. It floods areas with deadly purple gas, accompanied by sirens that warn of its arrival, forcing players to retreat to KLETKA to avoid instant death.

A vast, looming mass heralded by a screaming siren and marked environmental changes, Samosbor leaves devastation in its wake with no possibility of direct combat.

Behavior & Tactics:

  • Appears suddenly, signified by blaring alarm.
  • Releases lethal gas that kills outside KLETKA.
  • Cannot be harmed or fought.
  • Appears unexpectedly, signaled by a piercing siren.
  • Fills the area with lethal gas, making staying outside the elevator deadly.
  • Does not respond to attacks—impossible to fight directly.

Recommended Strategy:
At the first siren, immediately abandon any exploration and retreat to the safety of KLETKA. Survival depends entirely on avoiding this threat rather than confronting it.

Flesh Flies

Flesh Flies are pesky insects swarming over carrion. They’re weak individually but can overwhelm if you disturb them, forcing cautious interaction around their feeding sites.

Behavior & Tactics:

  • Attack if provoked near decaying flesh.
  • Easily scattered by light melee attacks.
  • Attack when players get too close or attempt to take resources from their feeding spot.
  • Scatter when struck, making them easy to chase off.

Weaknesses:

  • Low health, no ranged attacks.
  • Disappear when lightly struck.
  • Light attacks (punches, low-tier melee weapons) can scare them off.
  • They have low health and no ranged abilities.

Recommended Strategy: Approach flesh piles with care. If attacked, defend with quick strikes until they disperse, then promptly gather resources and move on.

Mushroom Man

Mushroom Man is a slow but deadly fungal humanoid. It hits hard but can be outpaced with careful maneuvering, shadowing it to strike from advantageous positions.

Visually unmistakable with a large mushroom cap head and pale fungal skin, it lumbers with predictable melee attacks.

Behavior & Tactics:

Behavior & Tactics:

  • Slow and deliberate movements, high damage strikes.
  • Simple attack patterns.
  • Wanders until provoked.

Weaknesses:

Weaknesses:

  • Highly susceptible to environmental traps like bear traps and landmines.
  • Easily kited thanks to slow speed.

Recommended Strategy: Use traps liberally or keep your distance, attacking from afar. When resources run low, rely on hit-and-run tactics leveraging its sluggish pace to avoid counterattacks.
