If you’ve just seen the Season 6 announcement and thought, “this looks chaotic,” you’re not wrong. This season flips the usual formula by mixing faction war, survival mechanics, and long-term scaling into one massive jungle-themed battlefield.
- The Story
- Pre-Season
- Day 1 of Season 6
- New Resources (Core of Season 6 Progression)
- New Buildings
- Map Size (It’s Big, Plan Accordingly)
- Professions (Slight Changes You Should Know)
- Season Boosts & Key Hero Change
- Quests & Milestones (Free Progress If You Pay Attention)
- Battle Pass Strategy (This One Actually Matters)
- Weekly Pass (Quietly Overpowered)
- Faction War (Deepwood vs Wetland)
I’ve spent time going through how this season actually plays out, and I’ll walk you through it the same way I’d explain it to someone in my alliance. No fluff, just what actually matters and how to stay ahead.
Season 6 isn’t just another territory grind. It’s built around three things:
- A collapsing environment (virus spreading through the river)
- A forced faction war (Deepwood vs Wetland)
- Long-term scaling through new resources and buildings
The twist is that you’re not just fighting players anymore. The environment itself is working against you.
The Story
The Shadow Rainforest is controlled by three clans:
- Great River Clan (neutral, keeps balance)
- Deepwood Clan (one side of the war)
- Wetland Clan (the other side)
The Great River gets infected by a virus, and everything starts falling apart. Creatures mutate, zombies appear, and the balance is gone.
Now both Deepwood and Wetland blame each other and go all-in on war.
That’s where you come in as the Commander. You pick a side and basically decide how this entire conflict ends.
Pre-Season
Before the real season starts, you get 2 weeks of Pre-Season. Most players ignore this, which is a mistake.
What actually happens here:
- You see your warzone grouping (8 total servers)
- You preview rewards and rules
- You prepare your alliance positioning
- You participate in Faction Awards
- You get a Capitol Conquest event in Week 2
Important detail:
The countdown timer doesn’t always match server reset. When it hits zero, expect a 10–30 minute delay before things actually start.
Day 1 of Season 6
When Season 6 begins:
- You’ll get the Season icon below Duel VS
- You must download the season resource pack
- You’ll receive 100 diamonds after download
Tip from experience:
Do this immediately. Players who delay this are already behind in early progress.
New Resources (Core of Season 6 Progression)
This season introduces three main resources, and understanding them properly is half the game.
Spore
Used for:
- Upgrading Fungus Institute
- Increasing Virus Resistance
How to get it:
- Doom Elite kills
- Season quests and goals
- City capture rewards
- Spore Factory production
At the end of the season, it converts into Profession EXP, so don’t ignore it.
Rainforest Mushroom
Used for:
- Building and upgrading Spore Factories
How to get it:
- Zombie kills
- Doom Walker kills
- Visitors at your base
- Battle Pass and Weekly Pass
- City and stronghold rewards
This is your engine resource. If you’re low on this, your progression slows hard.
War Merit
Used in:
- War Merit Shop
How to get it:
- Zombie kills
- Doom Elite kills
- City control (passive income)
This is your strategic currency for valuable items.
New Buildings
Fungus Institute
This is one of the most important buildings.
- Boosts virus resistance
- Required for fighting stronger enemies
- Max level goes very high (around 60)
If you ignore this, you’ll struggle mid-season.
Spore Factory
This is your resource generator.
- Produces Spore over time
- Requires Rainforest Mushrooms to upgrade
- Unlocks additional factories as you level up
Think of this as your long-term scaling tool.
Protector’s Field
Used in combat scenarios tied to the season mechanics. You’ll interact with it more during active conflict phases.
War Merit Shop
Where you spend War Merit for progression items. Check this regularly, don’t let currency sit idle.
Map Size (It’s Big, Plan Accordingly)
The Season 6 map is huge:
- Roughly equal to 9 Season 0 maps
This matters because:
- Travel time increases
- Positioning becomes critical
- Alliance coordination matters more than ever
Professions (Slight Changes You Should Know)
- Max level is now 100
- Diplomat profession is removed
So focus on combat and progression roles instead.
Season Boosts & Key Hero Change
This season’s special boost skin is:
- Enchanted Fungus
Also, one major highlight:
- Braz gets a UR upgrade
If you’re planning long-term investment, keep an eye on that.
Quests & Milestones (Free Progress If You Pay Attention)
Season quests now give:
- Coffee
- Coffee beans
- Progress rewards
They work like daily missions but are more important this time.
Alliance Milestones return too, which means:
- Shared rewards
- Progress tracking
- Hints about upcoming events
Battle Pass Strategy (This One Actually Matters)
There are 3 tiers:
- Free
- Advanced (~11.99€)
- Luxury (~23.99€)
Important detail most players miss:
Buying Luxury does NOT unlock Advanced rewards.
If you want everything, you need both.
Also:
- Buying early = double daily task rewards
- Buying late = you lose value
Weekly Pass (Quietly Overpowered)
This gives:
- Extra Spore Factory
- +250 Virus Resistance
- Faster zombie march speed
- Daily mushrooms and stamina
If you’re active, this is one of the best boosts in the season.
Faction War (Deepwood vs Wetland)
At its core, Season 6 is about choosing a side.
Your choice affects:
- Territory control
- Alliance strategy
- End-season rewards
The war escalates as weeks progress, and coordination becomes more important than raw power.
Season 6 feels more alive than previous seasons because everything is connected. Resources feed buildings, buildings feed resistance, resistance lets you fight stronger enemies, and all of that ties into faction war.
If you treat it like a normal season, you’ll fall behind.
If you play it like a long-term strategy game, you’ll dominate your server.
