Report Harald’s Defeat
The quest begins after defeating General Harald.
Return to Winds’ Rest and speak with Dew to inform her that Harald has finally been defeated. Although violence was the only way to release him from his endless torment, his soul is now free from the corruption that had consumed him for so long.
During your conversation, Dew explains that while Harald’s fate has finally come to an end, the true source of the calamity still remains hidden. Through the Web of Fate, she senses that another powerful figure continues manipulating countless souls from the shadows.
Upgrade the Gyldenblod Pool
Following Dew’s instructions, upgrade the Gyldenblod Pool at the camp.
The Gyldenblod Pool serves as an important tool for observing the disturbances within the Web of Fate. Strengthening it allows Dew to see deeper into the mysterious forces affecting Brandrgarde and the Hallowgrove.
After the upgrade is complete, the Web of Fate reacts violently, revealing that your previous investigations into the soul experiments have disturbed something far more ancient and powerful. The hidden mastermind finally begins leaving behind traces of its existence.
Speak with Dew Again
Return to Dew after upgrading the Gyldenblod Pool.
Using the strengthened Gyldenblod Pool and the fractures within the Web of Fate, Dew finally discovers the identity of the mysterious force manipulating recent events.
She reveals that the being responsible is known as the Fate Mocker, a long-forgotten priestess who has become trapped deep within the Hallowgrove. Rather than living or dying, she exists in an endless cycle of suffering, caught between life and death.
Dew also discovers that the Fate Mocker is closely connected to the forbidden soul experiments and believes she plays a central role in the tragedy that has consumed the region. Although many questions remain unanswered, this revelation confirms that defeating Harald was only one step toward uncovering the true enemy.
