Roblox Fisch’s FischFright 3 event amps up the excitement with not one, but three elusive Nessie variants haunting the waters. Landing Plush, Zombie, or Ghoul Nessie isn’t just about casting a line—these rare fish demand following unique rituals or teaming up for Trick or Treating, making their hunts a highlight for players chasing event-exclusive trophies and bragging rights.

Roblox Fisch’s seasonal FischFright 3 event has brought fresh challenges by introducing three rare Nessie variants—each requiring different approaches to catch. Your journey to snag Plush, Zombie, and Ghoul Nessie will test how well you navigate event tasks and fishing conditions.

Nessie remains among the rarest fish families in Roblox Fisch, and FischFright 3 spices things up with three distinct variants: Plush, Zombie, and Ghoul Nessie. They don’t share fishing spots, so you’ll need tailored strategies to track each one down.

Of the trio, Plush Nessie is the most accessible, obtainable either via Trick or Treating at Caustic Hallow or by fishing in Frightpools. The more sinister Zombie Nessie and Ghoul Nessie demand activating rituals at the Cemetery, along with completing prerequisites and gathering rare materials.

Plush Nessie is your starting point. Its two unlock methods—Trick or Treating and fishing in Frightpools—offer flexibility depending on your playstyle and what resources you already have.

The simplest route is to grab a high-tier mask and head door-to-door for treats, or if fishing’s your thing, hit any Frightpool with Sour Jelly Candy during autumn. Both ways work, but masks significantly boost your chances in Trick or Treating.

Trick or Treating lets you stack odds in your favor by equipping powerful masks available from the Dutchman Merchant, who patrols the Flying Dutchman in Caustic Hallow.

Two standout mask options are:

  • Leviathan Mask: Costs 10 Treats, affordable and effective.
  • Mossjaw Mask: A premium choice costing 1,500 Treats, boosting your rare drop rate.

Once equipped, run through houses on the island. Patience is key here because Plush Nessie is a rare Trick or Treat reward, so expect several visits before success.

Fishing is a great alternative if you prefer less wandering. Plush Nessie can be reeled in from any Frightpool, but the conditions must match its preference to trigger a catch.

Use the following fishing parameters for Plush Nessie:

  • Location: Any Frightpool
  • Weather: None
  • Time: Any
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Sour Jelly Candy

Having Sour Jelly Candy on hand is essential here. Although this route might take longer if you have fewer bait resources, it’s a solid backup if Trick or Treat isn’t panning out.

Moving beyond Plush Nessie, catching Zombie Nessie steps up in complexity by requiring the Haunted Cemetery Ritual. This means tying together prior ritual progressions and collecting specific items before reaching the fishing pool.

Before starting, you must finish an Enhanced Boglin Ritual and have completed these earlier rituals: Hexed, Scary Relic, Haunted, Jack-o-Moon, Boglin, Dutchman’s Blessing, and finally the Enhanced Boglin Ritual.

To fire up the Zombie Nessie ritual, gather:

  • One completed Enhanced Boglin Ritual
  • 2 Hex Stage items
  • 4 Awakened Skeletal Hands

The Jack-o-Lantern items you’ll need are:

  • 1 Dirty Candy Corn
  • 1 Crushed Bone
  • 1 Strange Root
  • 1 Giant Mushroom
  • 1 Spider Eye
  • 1 Bat Wing
  • 1 Raven Feather

For the Skeletal Hands fish requirements:

  • 1 Grim Skull
  • 1 Vile Skull
  • 1 Doomed Skull
  • 1 Dobhar

With all items in hand and the Enhanced Boglin Ritual complete, activate the Haunted Cemetery Ritual at the Cemetery Ground. This teleports you to the Haunted Cemetery, unlocking the quest for Zombie Nessie’s fishing pool.

To bring the Zombie Nessie pool to life, gather and deposit Haunted Bones into the cauldron in the Haunted Cemetery. It takes a total of 15 bones pooled together—with friends or other players—to spawn the pool.

Once active, fish under these conditions for the best chance at Zombie Nessie: Location: Haunted Cemetery Pool Weather: Jack-o-Moon Time: Night Season: Autumn Bait: Black Licorice

Jack-o-Moon weather can be tricky to hit naturally, but purchasing a Jack-o-Moon Totem from the Dutchman Merchant for 15,000 Treats grants you control over that condition, increasing your fishing success potential.

Keep fishing the pool patiently—spawning it is only the first hurdle, and the actual catch might take a while.

Ghoul Nessie is the pinnacle of rarity here, with two ways to access: the Ghoul Nessie Ritual or the weekly Spooky Cemetery Admin Event. Since the Admin Event runs less frequently, getting the ritual ready is the more reliable plan.

The Ghoul Nessie Ritual demands that you have completed an Omniscient Ritual and collected a fresh batch of rare materials. Like Zombie Nessie, you’ll need to build off previous ritual progress.

Prepare these items before heading to the Cemetery:

  • One completed Omniscient Ritual
  • 2 Hex Stage items
  • 5 Awakened Skeletal Hands

The Jack-o-Lantern items remain consistent with earlier rituals:

  • 1 Dirty Candy Corn
  • 1 Crushed Bone
  • 1 Strange Root
  • 1 Giant Mushroom
  • 1 Spider Eye
  • 1 Bat Wing
  • 1 Raven Feather

You’ll also need to collect 3 Dark Art Skull items, a new requirement for this ritual.

Skeletal Hands fish requirements for Ghoul Nessie include an added rare fish:

  • 1 Grim Skull
  • 1 Vile Skull
  • 1 Doomed Skull
  • 1 Eldritch Skull
  • 1 Omniscient-mutated Dobhar

Gathering all of these ahead saves endless backtracking. Once ready, head to the Cemetery to activate the Ghoul Nessie Ritual and unlock the Haunted Cemetery fishing pool for this elusive catch.

Make sure to fish under optimal conditions using Sour Jelly Candy as bait. Ghoul Nessie prefers:

  • Location: Haunted Cemetery Pool
  • Weather: Jack-o-Moon
  • Time: Night
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Sour Jelly Candy

The same Jack-o-Moon Totem for 15,000 Treats can be a smart investment here, ensuring you fish under the ideal weather. If luck’s on your side and the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event appears, it offers an alternate chance to catch this rare fish without assembling the full ritual.

Comparing your options makes clear how the difficulty scales:

  • Plush Nessie: Easiest to catch, either by Trick or Treating with a powerful mask or fishing Frightpools with Sour Jelly Candy.
  • Zombie Nessie: Requires activating the Haunted Cemetery Ritual, collecting Haunted Bones, and perfect fishing conditions.
  • Ghoul Nessie: Demands an Omniscient Ritual, advanced materials, and specific bait and time, or waiting for weekly Admin Events.

If you’re just tuning into the FischFright 3 event this year, Plush Nessie is the accessible starter. Afterward, focus on rituals and collecting the unusual items needed for Zombie and Ghoul Nessie. This stepwise approach will help you earn all three rare catches without feeling overwhelmed by the event’s heavy rituals and resource farming.

You can also purchase a Jack-o-Moon Totem from the Dutchman Merchant for 15,000 Treats. Using this totem can help you obtain the preferred weather condition for Zombie Nessie, making it easier to fish under the required conditions.

Remember that spawning the pool does not guarantee an immediate catch. Keep fishing with Black Licorice and make sure the weather, time, and season match the requirements.

How to Get Ghoul Nessie in FischFright 3

Ghoul Nessie is another rare fish available during FischFright 3, but obtaining it requires more preparation than Plush Nessie. There are two ways to access this fish: activate the Ghoul Nessie Ritual at the Cemetery or participate in the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event when it becomes available on your server.

Since the Admin Event only runs once a week, preparing for the ritual is a more practical option if you want to actively pursue Ghoul Nessie.

Requirements for the Ghoul Nessie Ritual

To unlock the Ghoul Nessie fishing opportunity, you must complete one Omniscient Ritual and collect several additional items. You will also need to progress through the earlier ritual requirements before attempting this one.

Prepare the following items:

  • Complete one Omniscient Ritual.
  • Obtain 2 Hex Stage.
  • Obtain 5 Awakened Skeletal Hands.

Jack-o-Lantern items:

  • 1 Dirty Candy Corn
  • 1 Crushed Bone
  • 1 Strange Root
  • 1 Giant Mushroom
  • 1 Spider Eye
  • 1 Bat Wing
  • 1 Raven Feather

Destroyed Jack-o-Lantern requirements:

  • 3 Dark Art Skull items.

Skeletal Hands fish requirements:

  • 1 Grim Skull
  • 1 Vile Skull
  • 1 Doomed Skull
  • 1 Eldritch Skull
  • 1 Omniscient-mutated Dobhar

Gather all the required materials before heading to the Cemetery. Since Ghoul Nessie requires an Omniscient Ritual and additional rare fish, preparing everything in advance can save you from repeatedly returning to collect missing items.

How to Catch Ghoul Nessie

Once you meet the requirements, activate the Ghoul Nessie Ritual at the Cemetery. The ritual will give you access to the Haunted Cemetery, where you can fish in the available pool for a chance to catch Ghoul Nessie.

Before fishing, make sure you have the correct bait and environmental conditions. Ghoul Nessie prefers the following setup:

  • Location: Haunted Cemetery Pool
  • Weather: Jack-o-Moon
  • Time: Night
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Sour Jelly Candy

You can purchase a Jack-o-Lantern Totem from the Dutchman Merchant for 15,000 Treats to help obtain the preferred weather condition. Make sure you use Sour Jelly Candy for Ghoul Nessie, as its preferred bait differs from the Black Licorice required for Zombie Nessie.

If the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event becomes available in your server, you can also use that opportunity to pursue Ghoul Nessie without relying entirely on the ritual route.

Plush Nessie vs. Zombie Nessie vs. Ghoul Nessie

Each Nessie variant has a different acquisition method, so choosing the right approach depends on your current progress in FischFright 3.

  • Plush Nessie: The easiest option for most players. Obtain it through Trick or Treating with a high-tier mask or fish for it in any Frightpool using Sour Jelly Candy.
  • Zombie Nessie: Requires the Haunted Cemetery Ritual, a contribution of 15 Haunted Bones to the cauldron, and the correct fishing conditions.
  • Ghoul Nessie: Requires the Omniscient Ritual and additional rare items, including an Omniscient-mutated Dobhar. You can also try obtaining it during the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event.

If you are new to the event, start with Plush Nessie before working toward the more demanding ritual-based variants. Players who have already progressed through the Cemetery rituals can focus on gathering the materials needed for Zombie Nessie and Ghoul Nessie.
