VHOLUME unfolds across an Afro-Eurasian cityscape spanning 41 meticulously crafted main levels, each offering a vibrant challenge that pushes your speed and timing. Players keen on achieving 100% completion will quickly realize that unlocking every achievement is as much about precise skill as thorough exploration.
While many achievements are a natural byproduct of completing levels, others demand beating strict time thresholds tied to bronze, silver, and gold medals. Additionally, important trophies await those who engage with the game’s NPCs and unlock hidden B-SIDE versions of each level to truly test their mastery.
Understanding the criteria tied to each trophy can save frustration and offer clear goals. Here’s what you need to know to confidently track down every VHOLUME achievement and enjoy the full experience it delivers.
VHOLUME Achievement List
Level Achievements
Several achievements encourage you to focus on speed by earning medals on individual levels. Medal times can be checked at any moment by pressing TAB to open the leaderboard and viewing the target time displayed in the top-right corner.
| Just in time | Earn a Bronze medal in any level. |
| Just a moment behind | Earn a Silver medal in any level. |
| A fleeting second | Earn a Gold medal in any level, effectively breaking the leaderboard record. |
Beyond single-level achievements, VHOLUME rewards consistency by tracking your performance across all 41 levels. Aim to collect each medal tier across the full set to unlock these prestigious trophies.
| On Time | Complete every level with a Bronze medal. |
| Model Citizen | Complete every level with a Silver medal. |
| The Way Forward | Complete every level with a Gold medal. |
Only the wind celebrates simply finishing all 41 primary levels, no matter the medal earned or record broken. It stands as a testament to your perseverance through the entirety of VHOLUME’s intricate cityscape.
NPC Achievements
Interacting with NPCs provides a unique layer of engagement beyond racing against the clock. Two achievements revolve around connecting with the city’s inhabitants.
- A familiar face
- Who’s left?
Simply speaking to an NPC for the first time will unlock A familiar face, giving you immediate feedback on your interaction efforts.

To claim Who’s left?, you need to converse with all 42 designated NPCs scattered throughout various game locations. This requires deliberate exploration and careful attention to NPC placement.
Note that not every NPC in VHOLUME contributes to this achievement. Only specific characters count, so focus on those listed within the key levels.
During playthroughs, talking to all encountered NPCs ensured this achievement. While it’s unclear if every single NPC is necessary, thoroughness is your best bet.
The following levels each contain crucial NPCs required for the achievement:
| Level | NPCs |
|---|---|
| racetrack00 | 1 |
| conapt04 | 2 |
| conapt05 | 2 |
| conapt06 | 1 |
| conapt08 | 2 |
| conapt09 | 1 |
| sewers00 | 1 |
| sewers01 | 1 |
| jungle01 | 5 |
| jungle02 | 1 |
| showers00 | 1 |
| fair | 2 |
| joan00 | 1 |
| mucuslife-01 | 3 |
| apogee00 | 1 |
| apogee01 | 2 |
| apogee02 | 1 |
Additionally, there are 13 NPCs marked by light bulbs, distributed as follows across these hubs:
- 3 in adlin
- 5 in openoffice00
- 5 in openoffice01
The B-SIDE level dhust02 in openoffice00 features 5 more NPCs; however, these do not contribute toward any achievement.
Pay special attention to the jungle01 level, where two required NPCs—Belen and Ayo—are tucked inside a pipe. Missing them here can stall progress.
If you find yourself one NPC short, revisit jungle01 before considering a full replay of the game; it often holds the last required interaction.
B-SIDE Achievements
Two achievements are linked to the B-SIDE levels, alternative versions that deepen the challenge:
- A Distant Memory
- A Form of Absence
Unlocking B-SIDE stages requires locating a hidden teapot within each corresponding main level, encouraging extensive exploration.

Finding the teapot in a level grants access to its B-SIDE variant, delivering fresh obstacles and timed challenges.
Since these teapots are often hidden in tricky, less obvious spots, exhaustively search the environment to avoid missing them.
Quiet fading
By completing every B-SIDE level, you’ll earn the Quiet fading achievement, a reminder of your unwavering dedication to VHOLUME’s toughest runs.
The case is closed.
Another distinctive trophy, The case is closed., rewards reaching VHOLUME’s peak velocity.
The speed threshold to unlock this is at least 2600. Pushing your skills to hit this milestone will reveal new facets of the gameplay’s momentum system.
Once your speed surpasses this limit, the achievement automatically unlocks, rewarding your mastery of momentum.
Fish paste
The final achievement, Fish paste, acts as VHOLUME’s platinum trophy, appearing only after you’ve earned every other achievement.
It symbolizes complete conquest, a badge of honor for those who mastered every challenge, NPC, and secret VHOLUME has to offer.
With the right combination of timing, exploration, and speed, unlocking every achievement in VHOLUME is a satisfying journey that honors your dedication to the game’s rich world.
