Voidtrain stands out with a wide variety of achievements that track everything from your story progress to combat prowess, clever crafting, and thorough exploration. You wont have to stress over missing a trophy early on, since most can be earned well after you’ve completed the story segments.

There are 55 achievements in total, including hidden ones that reward thorough players. Some require specific triggers or actions beyond mere story completion, so knowing when and how to perform these is key.

Voidtrain Story Achievements

Story achievements naturally unlock as you progress through the games narrative, quest completions, and unlocking new features. However, a few demand an extra step, so keep an eye out if they dont activate as expected.

Mom, Dad! I can Fly!

This opens as soon as you complete the prologue and enter the Void, marking your arrival in the main game world. Its a satisfying early milestone that officially kicks off the adventure.

Dont stop me now

Leeches can attach to the sides of your locomotive, slowing your momentum. Youll need to eliminate one while its latched on to unlock this.

Pay attention: wait until a leech turns blue, then land your shot. Killing it off the train or at the wrong moment wont count.

Timing is everything here. Keep your aim steady and be patient for the right color change.

Is this edible!?

Roflimo is a quirky crew member who gets perks from mushrooms. Once hes on board, pick him up and feed him a mushroom to secure this achievement.

Hey, I didn’t mean to!

Killing an enemy soldier is straightforward given the game’s combat encounters. Youll naturally earn this during your depot explorations.

We need more platforms

Building a railcar platform requires using the builders console found within depots. You can expand existing wagons or create entirely new ones depending on your engines capability.

Keep in mind that the maximum number of platforms is influenced by your installed engine type.

Crafting and equipping a SMALL BACKPACK expands your carrying capacity significantly. It requires wood, 2 leather, bolts, and copper tubing—materials you can gather throughout your travels.

Milestone achievements track repeated actions or reaching specific counts. They typically unlock naturally as you progress, with some you can efficiently target alongside your main playthrough.

Stonks

Trade 10 unique items at vending machines to unlock this. Combining this with the Bargain Hunter achievement by seeking discounts simultaneously is a smart move.

Bargain Hunter

Buy five different discounted items in a row from vending machines. Make sure to watch price tags carefully so all your purchases are visibly on sale.

Check the price tags beside the items. You need to buy items marked as being on sale, and all five purchases must be discounted.

Squeaky Clean

Your mop comes in handy yet again, this time to clean five separate dirty spots on the train. Equipping it and tidying up is all it takes.

Shock Therapy

Hit at least four enemies with a single sphere fired from the ANNIHILATOR Core’s secondary fire.

Equip the Annihilator Core, gather four enemies close together, and use its alternate attack. The arena is a good place to attempt this because enemies often appear in groups.

Hat Trick

To shoot helmets off three soldiers within 10 seconds, use a rifle or revolver loaded with at least six bullets. Aim for their helmets consecutively without delay for the best chance.

Aquarius

Install three water condensers on your train and keep them maintained to unlock this achievement. It feels good to see your train prosper with ample water supply.

Install at least three garden beds on your train. Beyond functional advantages, they add a bit of charm to your locomotives design.

Spray and Pray

Kill three enemies consecutively with the same weapon without reloading or switching to cannonballs. Taking your time is fine, but avoid reloading between kills.

The first depots soldiers are less armored, making them perfect targets for attempting this achievement.

You can take your time between kills, but don’t reload between them. Weaken the enemies beforehand if needed, then finish each one with your chosen weapon.

Cleaned Out

At a single depot, open two containers, buy two items from vending machines, and spend two tokens on slot machines. Its a comprehensive way to engage with all depot features.

Depots usually have plenty of containers to search. Complete all three tasks before leaving the same depot.

Use your grappling hook to pick up three or more items simultaneously without magnetism. Dropping inventory items together beforehand helps achieve this easily.

You can target a group of fish or several loose items. I recommend that you drop multiple items from your inventory in one spot, then grab them together with the grappling hook.

Kill 30 arena bugs of any type as you face waves in the arena. This achievement stacks up over time.

Spend 10 tokens on slot machines located in depots. Tokens come from defeated soldiers, so keep farming between runs.

An engineer, truly an engineer!

Construct a total of 12 wagon platforms, which requires the Diesel Engine upgrade. Aim to upgrade your train to clear this off your list.

Dream team

Recruit five Roflimo crew members by finding and inviting more of them onboard. This achievement showcases how invested you are in your team.

Achievements Worth Planning For

The more complex movement-based achievements involving train speed, afterburner, and collisions are best handled on a separate save. This prevents unwanted setbacks during your main story progress.

These aren’t permanently missable. You can return to them later.
