Anime Zero demands precision with its damage builds if you want to breeze through enemies and bosses efficiently. Deciding between pure damage or critical hits changes how you play and upgrade your character, affecting everything from weapon choice to skill tree priorities.

Finding the right build can make a big difference in Anime Zero, especially when you are trying to clear enemies and bosses faster. Your weapon is important, but your trait, gear, title, and skill tree also affect your total damage.

There are two strong damage builds to consider. The first focuses on raw damage and faster skill rotations, while the second focuses on critical hits. Both can use the same main weapons, but the trait and gear are different.

1. Full Damage Build

The Full Damage Build shines when you want steady, reliable damage output. It combines raw damage boosts with attack speed and cooldown reduction, allowing you to hit hard and frequently keep your skills rolling.

Best weapons for this include Cursed King, Cataclysm, or Flame Director. Awakening your weapon is essential, unlocking its ultimate skill and significantly boosting your damage during fights.

For the weapon, you can use Cursed King, Cataclysm, or Flame Director. Make sure to awaken your weapon so you can unlock its ultimate skill and get more damage during fights.

This build setup includes:

  • Weapon: Cursed King, Cataclysm, or Flame Director
  • Weapon: Awakened
  • Skill Tree: Attack + Critical
  • Trait: Supernova
  • Gear: Blast Archer Crown
  • Title: Flame Director
  • Weapon: Cursed King, Cataclysm, or Flame Director
  • Weapon: Awakened
  • Skill Tree: Attack + Critical
  • Trait: Supernova
  • Gear: Blast Archer Crown
  • Title: Flame Director

Skill Tree

Focus your skill tree upgrades on the Attack and Critical branches. The Attack branch boosts damage by 60% when fully upgraded and should be prioritized first for a direct damage increase. The Critical branch adds 15% critical chance, enhancing your damage spikes once attack is optimized.

Supernova Trait

The core trait here is Supernova, which delivers multiple powerful bonuses simultaneously, enhancing your fighting capabilities in several ways.

Supernova grants:

  • 24% increased damage
  • 20% faster attack speed
  • 12% cooldown reduction
  • 3 movement speed

The bonuses include:

  • 24% more damage
  • 20% attack speed
  • 12% cooldown reduction
  • 3 movement speed

The damage bonus is the biggest reason to use Supernova, but the attack speed and cooldown reduction are also very useful. You can attack faster and use your skills again sooner.

Blast Archer Crown

Blast Archer Crown is the ideal gear choice for this build, offering solid damage boosts and resilience.

It provides:

  • 20% more damage
  • 12% increased health
  • 7% cooldown reduction
  • 7% better drop rate
  • 20% more damage
  • 12% more health
  • 7% cooldown reduction
  • 7% drop rate

The extra damage works perfectly with Supernova. The cooldown reduction also lets you use your abilities more often.

The Crown is more expensive than the gear used for the critical build, but it gives a much larger direct damage bonus.

Flame Director title is essential here, unlocking significant bonuses after completing a specific raid sans your ultimate. The title grants: 15% increased damage 20% more health 3.5 movement speed 5% cooldown reduction 5% increased drop rate

Flame Director is the recommended title for this setup. To unlock it, you need to complete the required raid while playing as Flame Director without using your ultimate.

The title gives:

  • 15% more damage
  • 20% more health
  • 3.5 movement speed
  • 5% cooldown reduction
  • 5% drop rate

This makes it another strong source of damage and cooldown reduction for the build.

2. Critical Damage Build

If raw damage isn’t your only focus, the Critical Damage Build shifts emphasis to maximizing your chance and damage of critical hits. Core weapons remain the same with the key difference in trait and gear choices to support crit stats.

Recommended setup:

  • Weapon: Cursed King, Cataclysm, or Flame Director
  • Weapon: Awakened
  • Skill Tree: Attack + Critical
  • Trait: Dead Eye
  • Gear: Sunglasses
  • Title: Flame Director
  • Weapon: Cursed King, Cataclysm, or Flame Director
  • Weapon: Awakened
  • Skill Tree: Attack + Critical
  • Trait: Dead Eye
  • Gear: Sunglasses
  • Title: Flame Director

Dead Eye Trait

Dead Eye is the main trait for critical build, stacking big boosts to critical damage and chance alongside solid damage bonuses.

Stats include:

  • 20% increased damage
  • 5% critical chance
  • 50% critical damage bonus

The trait gives:

  • 20% more damage
  • 5% critical chance
  • 50% critical damage

The 50% critical damage bonus is the main reason to use Dead Eye. However, you also need enough critical chance to trigger those stronger hits regularly.

Sunglasses Gear

The best gear for this build is Sunglasses, which target crit chance and some quality-of-life stats rather than raw damage.

Sunglasses provide:

  • 3% damage
  • 11% critical chance
  • 1 movement speed
  • 5% more coins
  • 4% more health

They provide:

  • 3% more damage
  • 11% critical chance
  • 1 movement speed
  • 5% more coins
  • 4% more health

The 3% damage bonus is much lower than the Blast Archer Crown’s 20%. However, Sunglasses are not being used for their direct damage.

The important stat is the 11% critical chance. This works together with Dead Eye and the Critical skill branch to give the build a much higher chance of landing critical hits.

31% Critical Chance

Crit chance here stacks from multiple sources:

  • Critical skill branch: 15%
  • Dead Eye trait: 5%
  • Sunglasses gear: 11%

Totaling 31% critical hit chance, this build consistently triggers powerful critical attacks that take advantage of Dead Eye’s 50% crit damage bonus.

  • Critical skill branch: 15%
  • Dead Eye: 5%
  • Sunglasses: 11%

This gives the build a total of 31% critical chance.

A 31% critical chance does not mean every third attack will always be a critical hit. Critical hits are based on chance, so the results can vary between attacks.

However, over a longer fight, the higher critical chance gives you more opportunities to take advantage of Dead Eye’s 50% critical damage.

Which Damage Build Is Better?

The Full Damage Build suits players wanting dependable, high sustained damage output aided by strong attack speed and cooldown reduction. Supernova, Blast Archer Crown, and Flame Director all reinforce direct damage with speed buffs.

The Critical Damage Build favors those preferring powerful crit bursts and more affordable gear options. Sunglasses work well with Dead Eye’s crit bonuses to increase hit impact without demanding costly gear.

The Critical Damage Build is better if you already have Dead Eye or want a cheaper gear option. Sunglasses are easier to work toward than the Blast Archer Crown, and their critical chance works well with Dead Eye.

Choose the Full Damage Build if you already have Supernova and the materials for Blast Archer Crown. Choose the Critical Build if you have Dead Eye or prefer to spend fewer resources on gear.

Both builds pack a punch, so don’t wait for perfect gear to start ramping up your damage. Awaken your weapon, build up your skill tree, and use what you have while upgrading gradually to match your preferred damage style.
