The latest Sailor Piece update added the powerful Archangel race evolution, and a lot of players are already calling it one of the strongest secret races currently available in the game. The problem is that the process is not explained very clearly, so many players end up confused about where to go, which NPC to talk to, and how the quests actually work.
- First You Need the Angel Race
- Find the Celestial Guide NPC
- First Quest: Obtain 5 Secret Drops
- Second Quest: Find the Hidden Halos
- Halo Location 1: Star Island
- Halo Location 2: Blissar Island
- Halo Location 3: Punch Island
- Halo Location 4: Blue Planet
- Third Quest: Defeat Bosses for Special Drops
- Luck Makes a Huge Difference
- Return to the NPC for Archangel
If you are trying to evolve your Angel race into Archangel, this guide will walk you through the entire process step by step in a much easier way.
First You Need the Angel Race
Before you can even begin the evolution quests, you must already have the Angel race equipped.
Angel is currently a mythical race, so getting it can take some time depending on your luck. When rerolling races, it is a good idea to use the filter system and disable every race except Angel. That way, you avoid wasting rerolls on races you do not want.
Once you finally obtain Angel, keep it equipped the entire time because the quests will not progress otherwise.
Find the Celestial Guide NPC
After getting Angel, head over to Blue Planet Island in Sea 2.
Once you arrive there, move toward the right side of the island until you find the Celestial Guide NPC. This NPC starts the full Archangel evolution questline and gives you three different trials to complete.
Each trial becomes more difficult than the last, so prepare for a decent amount of grinding.
First Quest: Obtain 5 Secret Drops
The first trial is actually the easiest one, although it can still take a little time if your luck is low.
Your goal is to obtain five secret drops while using the Angel race.
These secret drops can include:
- Aura Crates
- Cosmetic Crates
- Secret Chests
- Other rare reward drops
There are several ways to finish this part.
Farming NPCs
The most straightforward method is simply farming enemies around Sea 2 with high luck boosts active. Many players repeatedly farm NPC groups until rare crates start dropping.
If you have luck relics or luck boosts, this part becomes much faster.
Buying Secret Drops
Another very popular method is purchasing secret drops directly from shops like:
- Crystal Defense Shop
- Boss Rush Shop
Many players prefer this method because it is much faster than relying entirely on random drops.
Trading With Players
Some players also complete this quest through trading. If another player trades you five valid secret drops, they can still count toward the quest progress.
This is probably the fastest option if you already have friends or trading partners.
Second Quest: Find the Hidden Halos
The second trial requires you to collect four hidden halos scattered around the world.
This part is more exploration-focused and much easier if you already know the locations.
Halo Location 1: Star Island
The first halo is located on top of a hill at Star Island.
Once you reach the island, climb upward until you see the glowing halo near the top area.
Halo Location 2: Blissar Island
The second halo is hidden toward the back side of Blissar Island.
You will need to travel around the island carefully because it is slightly tucked away from the main area.
Halo Location 3: Punch Island
For the third halo, go to Punch Island and head toward the left side.
Climb onto the nearby building and you should find the halo sitting on top.
Halo Location 4: Blue Planet
The final halo is back at Blue Planet Island.
Head toward the side section near the portal area and you should see the last halo waiting there.
Once all four halos are collected, the second trial will automatically complete.
Third Quest: Defeat Bosses for Special Drops
The final trial is very similar to the Sea 2 map piece grind because you need to defeat specific bosses for rare quest items.
The game usually tells you which bosses count through the quest information tab, so keep an eye on that while farming.
Some of the easier recommended bosses include:
- Gojo
- Yishi
- Sid
- Dio
Many players prefer farming Sid and Dio because they can be spawned more easily compared to some of the other options.
Using boss spawners here saves a massive amount of time.
Luck Makes a Huge Difference
The final boss drops are heavily luck-based, so having high luck boosts is extremely important.
If possible, use:
- Luck relics
- Luck potions
- Event boosts
- Luck passives
Without extra luck, the final materials can take a long time to drop.
Return to the NPC for Archangel
After finishing all three trials, go back to the Celestial Guide NPC at Blue Planet Island while still using Angel race.
The NPC will then evolve your race into Archangel.
Once unlocked, you gain access to one of the strongest secret races currently available in Sailor Piece.
The Archangel evolution is definitely one of the longer grinds added in the newest Sailor Piece update, but the rewards are worth it for players who enjoy endgame progression.
The biggest challenge is usually the final boss farming section because the drops depend heavily on luck. Thankfully, the halo collection part is fairly simple once you know the exact locations.
If you are planning to unlock Archangel, try preparing luck boosts and boss spawners ahead of time because they make the grind much easier and save a lot of farming time.
