Walkthrough Guide with All Achievements
The walkthrough organizes the operations strictly by achievement progression, beginning with the tutorial mission and culminating in the final cleanup. Only the Hint Hater achievement is truly missable because it requires completing the entire game without consulting hints.
Aside from achievements, the game features six collectibles dispersed across the series. Collecting all unlocks a special epilogue focusing on the protagonist’s background, enriching the narrative experience beyond the main story.
Operation Groundwater
Serving as an introductory level, this mission guides you through basic item interaction and environment manipulation. Following the simple prompts sets the foundation for more complex tasks later on.
- Find the Pickaxe head and then the Pickaxe handle, followed by collecting the Dirt.
- Combine the Pickaxe head and Pickaxe handle to craft the Pickaxe.
- Use the Pickaxe to break open the Well, obtaining Planks.
- Retrieve the Body and place it in the Well.
- Pour the Dirt into the well and cover it with the Planks.
- Leave the Pickaxe where you found it and conclude the operation.
All’s Well that Starts Well
Complete Operation Groundwater leaving no trace of your involvement. This requires carefully handling evidence disposal and surrounding environmental cues.
Operation Last Rites
- Pick up the Wooden block and the Pin.
- Move left to collect the Hacksaw, Hose, and Body.
- Cut the Wooden block with the Hacksaw to craft a Wooden wedge.
- Cut the Hose into a Hose segment using the Hacksaw.
- Return to the starting point and apply the Wooden wedge and the Pin to the door to block it.
- Enter the Crematory, pick up the Document and Bucket.
- Use the Hacksaw to open the right incinerator and retrieve the Belt (Collectible 1/6).
- Attach the Bucket to the valve to get a Bucket of water.
- Go left, heat the water in the burning barrel to create a Bucket of hot water.
- Combine the Bucket of hot water with the Hose segment to make an Expanded hose segment.
- Apply the Document to the burning barrel to create Burning paper.
- Return to the Crematory and fix the broken pipe using the Expanded hose segment.
- Turn on the gas valve and open the left incinerator door.
- Place the Body on the incinerator rails and use the Burning paper to ignite the incinerator.
- Push the Body inside and close the door.
- Use the Hose on the Ashes to clean up.
Take a Deep Breath
- Shut off the gas valve to stop the incinerator.
- Detach the Expanded hose segment from the pipe.
- Pour Bucket of hot water on the incinerator to set it down safely.
- Exit the Crematory and go left to the alley.
- Discard the Expanded hose segment in the burning barrel.
- Dispose of the Hose in the dumpster and leave the Hacksaw on the ground.
- Complete the operation without leaving evidence.
- I shut off the gas with the valve.
- I take the Expanded hose segment from the pipe.
- I apply the Bucket of hot water to the incinerator to put it back on the floor.
- I exit and go left to the alley.
- I throw the Expanded hose segment into the burning barrel.
- I place the Hose into the dumpster.
- I place the Hacksaw on the ground.
- I finish the operation.
Extra Crispy
Finish Operation Last Rites ensuring no evidence is left behind, from incineration through item disposal, to maintain a clean slate.
Operation Spillway
- Grab the Dead branch.
- Proceed right to collect a Hacksaw from the truck and a Wire from the ground.
- Use the Wire to silently incapacitate the guard, then exit the area.
Serial Killer 1/28
The game tasks you with methodically eliminating all killable targets, with this mission advancing that goal.
- Cut down a Beehive from a beehive using the Hacksaw at the starting location.
- Go right and place the Beehive near the guard to provoke him.
- Unlock the truck’s glove compartment using the Wire on the door lock and collect the Lighter.
- Ignite the Dead branch near the beehive to further distract the guard.
- Enter the building, grab the Shovel, then pull both levers to stop the water flow.
- Dig a hole with the Shovel, hide the Body inside it, then cover it up.
- Reset the levers to restore water flow and return the Shovel before leaving.
- Secure the truck by locking the door with Wire, closing the glove compartment, and placing the Hacksaw and Wire on the ground.
- Conclude the operation after setting the Dead branch back on the ground.
A Dam Good Job
Successfully complete Operation Spillway without leaving clues, emphasizing careful evidence management throughout.
Operation Airlift
- Pick up the Oil can and retrieve the Strap from the cabinet.
- Enter the cockpit and use the Strap to silently neutralize Captain Castillo, then leave.
Serial Killer 2/28
Advancing the goal of eliminating all targets, this sequence extends the story by using environmental sabotage and infiltration.
- Converse with Captain Castillo initially and collect the Jacket (Collectible 2/6).
- Exit and create an oil spill by applying the Oil can to the ground.
- Return to the cockpit and raise the topic of the spill with Castillo.
- Gather the Phone, ID, and Clipboard.
- Inspect the ID and note Castillo’s birthdate: 05/09/1974.
- Input 5974 as the phone password.
- Send messages to all contacts, saving Vivian’s as the last. Then erase all sent and received messages before returning the phone.
- Review the Clipboard for the takeoff checklist and use the handset to contact the control tower.
- Secure the cockpit, adjust altitude to 10,000 feet, start engines and push the throttle.
- Close the door and apply the Strap to secure it, then release the ramp.
- Collect the Parachute and Flare from the emergency kit, burn the crates, and exit the plane with the parachute.
Chatterbox
Communicating through Captain Castillo’s phone is essential to remove suspicion and complete the mission stealthily. Purging messages prevents leaving digital traces.
- Send and then delete messages from all contacts.
- Replace the phone when done; Castillo will briefly return before departing again.
- Use the clipboard to follow the takeoff procedures precisely.
- After completing flight setup, leave the plane via parachute following crate destruction.
Stick the Landing
Finish Operation Airlift leaving no evidence behind, ensuring a tidy extraction without alerting others to your deeds.
Operation Manifest
- Gather a Rotten fish and feed it to a Cat.
- Collect the Cat and enter a red shipping container.
- Inside, obtain a Laser pointer from the toolbox plus an RC car, Cardboard cutout, and Barrel.
- Return to the starting point and combine the Cardboard cutout with the RC car to make a Perfect decoy.
- Use the Perfect decoy to distract the guard.
- Enter the container ship and examine a yellow container marked ID 9417 with a flag.
- Send the Cat through the container bars to interact with the environment.
- Use the Laser pointer to make the cat interfere with boxes and a mug, creating a distracting mess.
Kitty Litter
