I’ll be honest, this one took me a bit to figure out. It’s not impossible, but it’s definitely one of those achievements where you need to know exactly what you’re doing beforehand or you’ll just keep missing it. Once you understand the setup though, it actually becomes a pretty fun little challenge.
Location
The panda statue you’re aiming for is located up north on the map. You’ll find it sitting on a horizontal stone platform. It’s not hard to spot once you’re in the right area, but reaching it in time is the tricky part.
Know Your Targets
There are three targets you need to hit before you can claim the panda, and the order matters if you want to make this easier on yourself.
The first target is located near the ski lift, more specifically on and behind the ridge where the lift is. It’s slightly tucked away, so make sure you’re actually looking behind the ridge and not just around it.
The second target is directly underneath the statue. This one is important because it’s basically your central point for the whole setup.
The third target is on a nearby peak with a few trees. It’s a bit further out, but still reachable if you position yourself properly.
My Order of Execution (What Worked for Me)
Before you even start hitting targets, take a minute to set everything up. This makes a huge difference.
What I did was place a teleport beacon (the green flag) near the statue, positioned so I could easily see and reach the second target underneath it. I also placed a climbing gadget nearby so I could get back onto the stone quickly if needed.
On top of that, I put a boost pad directly on the stone where the statue is. This helps a lot when you need to get back up quickly at the end.
Once everything is set up, start the sequence.
First, go to the target near the lift and hit it. This one is the furthest from your main setup, so it makes sense to start here.
After hitting it, immediately teleport back to your beacon. This puts you right back near the statue and saves a ton of time.
From there, hit the second target underneath the statue. Since you placed your beacon with a clear view, this should be quick.
Next, aim for the third target on the peak with the trees. You can hit this one from the same general area where you teleported, so you don’t need to travel far.
Once all three targets are done, the final step is getting to the statue.
Jump up, use your sled for a bit of extra speed and momentum, and hit the boost pad you placed earlier. That should give you enough height and speed to reach the statue in time and collect the panda reward.
This challenge is really just about preparation and timing. If you try to do it without setting up teleport and boosts, it’s going to feel way harder than it actually is.
Once you get the setup right, it becomes pretty smooth. Still a fun one though, definitely one of the more interesting unlocks in the game.
