Fragments of Sacred Light are fairly easy to come across during the early stages of DragonSword: Awakening, but that changes once you reach the endgame. As you start awakening more Stigmas, your supply can disappear surprisingly quickly.

Fortunately, once you break through the Level 50 cap, you gain access to a reliable daily farming method. By targeting a specific group of Sudden Missions, you can earn up to 420 Fragments of Sacred Light per day.
Here’s everything you need to know about farming Fragments of Sacred Light and turning them into Stigma Awakened Stones.
Best Way to Farm Fragments of Sacred Light
The most consistent source of Fragments of Sacred Light is completing certain Sudden Missions around the world map.
There are eight relevant missions:
| Sudden Mission | Reward |
|---|---|
| Defeat Spark Droplet Murto | 60 Fragments + 300 EXP |
| Defeat Bargon, Wings of the Wild | 60 Fragments + 300 EXP |
| Defeat Aela, Wings of Ruin | 60 Fragments + 300 EXP |
| Defeat Autophagist Gult | 60 Fragments + 300 EXP |
| Defeat Sand Claw Dragus | 60 Fragments + 300 EXP |
| Defeat Acidic Slime Drazel | 60 Fragments + 300 EXP |
| Defeat Sticky Slime Frunk | 60 Fragments + 300 EXP |
| Defeat Earth-Splitting Cragmo | 60 Fragments + 300 EXP |
Each mission awards 60 Fragments of Sacred Light, alongside 300 EXP.
Completing all of the available missions provides up to 420 Fragments per day according to the current farming route.
The Sudden Missions reset daily at approximately 9 PM EST, so you can repeat the process after each reset.
How to Find Fragment of Sacred Light Sudden Missions
Most of these Sudden Missions are concentrated around the northern portion of the world map, making it relatively convenient to clear several during the same farming session.
There are two notable exceptions located south of Orbis Castle:
Autophagist Gult can be found around the Silver Fort Outpost, while Spark Droplet Murto is located in the Shadowed Wood.
Murto is particularly easy to miss.
Instead of simply heading to the mission marker and looking around the immediate area, you’ll need to go behind the waterfall at the marked location. That’s where you’ll find Spark Droplet Murto.
The other targets are considerably easier. Approaching their locations should cause the appropriate Sudden Mission notification to appear.
How to Track Sudden Mission Targets
After you’ve encountered the relevant enemies, you don’t have to manually search for them every time they respawn.
Open:
Mercenary Guide → Regional Missions → Sudden Missions
Find the mission you want from the available list and select it.
The game can then track the target’s location, making subsequent Fragment farming runs considerably faster.
It’s worth unlocking and identifying all of the relevant missions first. Once they’re available for tracking, your daily routine becomes a simple matter of moving between targets and defeating each boss.
How Many Fragments of Sacred Light Do You Need?
Fragments of Sacred Light become particularly important when you start working on Stigma progression.
A Stigma Awakened Stone costs 200 Fragments of Sacred Light.
That means a full daily farming run worth 420 Fragments provides enough resources for:
2 Stigma Awakened Stones + 20 Fragments remaining
If you consistently complete the farming route, the rewards quickly add up.
| Farming Period | Fragments | Stigma Awakened Stones* |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Day | 420 | 2 |
| 3 Days | 1,260 | 6 |
| 5 Days | 2,100 | 10 |
| 7 Days | 2,940 | 14 |
*This only shows the number you can immediately purchase while keeping any leftover Fragments for later exchanges.
A full week of farming therefore provides enough Fragments for 14 Stigma Awakened Stones, with 140 Fragments remaining.
Other Ways to Get Fragments of Sacred Light
Sudden Missions should be your main repeatable farming method, but they’re not the only source.
You can obtain additional Fragments through rank-up rewards and quests as you continue progressing through DragonSword: Awakening.
These sources aren’t necessarily as consistent as the daily Sudden Mission route, but they’re worth collecting whenever available—especially considering how expensive repeated Stigma awakening becomes.
How to Get More Stigma Awakened Stones
You don’t always have to spend Fragments to obtain Stigma Awakened Stones.
Another source is Golden Treasure Map Chests.
Golden Treasure Maps can be obtained from puzzle rewards. Once you have one, open your inventory and select the map to use it.
This gives you another opportunity to acquire Awakened Stones while preserving your Fragments for future upgrades.
It’s therefore worth continuing to complete puzzles even after reaching the endgame rather than concentrating exclusively on Sudden Missions.
Best Daily Fragment Farming Routine
Once you’ve passed Level 50, your daily routine should be fairly straightforward.
Start by opening Mercenary Guide → Regional Missions → Sudden Missions and checking which Fragment-producing missions are currently available.
Track each target and clear the Sudden Missions one after another. Since most are found toward the northern side of the world map, group those encounters together rather than constantly traveling from one side of the map to another.
Remember that Spark Droplet Murto is behind the waterfall in Shadowed Wood, as this is the target you’re most likely to waste time searching for.
After completing your Sudden Missions, collect any available quest or rank-up Fragment rewards. Finally, check whether you have Golden Treasure Maps from puzzles that can provide additional Stigma Awakened Stones.
Are Fragments of Sacred Light Worth Farming Daily?
Yes, particularly after reaching DragonSword: Awakening’s endgame.
The resource becomes significantly more important once you’re regularly awakening Stigmas, and relying entirely on one-time quest rewards won’t provide a sustainable supply.
Sudden Missions solve that problem.
With 60 Fragments per mission and up to 420 Fragments available each day, you can reliably obtain enough resources for at least two Stigma Awakened Stones per daily farming cycle.
The key is consistency. Unlock the relevant Sudden Missions, use the Mercenary Guide to track their respawns, remember Murto’s hidden location behind the waterfall, and repeat the route after the daily reset. Over several days, you’ll build a much healthier supply of Fragments for your endgame Stigma upgrades.
