I usually rely on achievement guides myself, but when I finished this game and realized there wasn’t a proper one, I figured I might as well put one together. Most achievements in Magical Princess are honestly pretty straightforward, but a few of them can be confusing or easy to miss if you don’t know what you’re doing.
So instead of listing everything, I’m just focusing on the ones that actually gave me trouble, along with the route I followed to 100%.
Also, fair warning, there are spoilers here, especially when it comes to endings.
Tricky Achievements
A lot of achievements are just “play the game and you’ll get them,” but these are the ones that aren’t very clear at first.
Deal Made
You need to buy something from Sophie, but she doesn’t just show up normally.
You’ll only find her in town during nights of the crimson moon, so make sure you visit then and just purchase anything.
That’s Going to Sting
You need to deal 5,000 damage in one hit, which sounds simple until you realize normal skills won’t get you there.
The easiest way is to get the chainsaw from the weapon shop at night using the special currency from the alley. It shows up around Sep 899.
If you want to make things easier, grab it during January with the discount skill active, or just steal it. The key thing is the chainsaw has a crit that can hit 9999 damage, which instantly clears this.
Divine Encounter
This one takes time. During the Bread Festival, don’t participate at all. Just go for a walk and donate money to the lake every year.
If you keep doing this consistently, the Harvest Goddess will appear in year 3 and reward you. Just make sure you keep enough money because the donation cost increases each year.
Terrible Omelet
You need to see all Naughty Events, and there are 9 total.
The important part is your morality must stay below 50%. It doesn’t matter what choices you make, just make sure the events trigger. They happen in these months:
- Apr 898
- Jul 898
- Oct 898
- Jan 899
- Apr 899
- Aug 899
- Nov 899
- Jan 900
- Apr 900
If your morality goes too high, you’ll miss them, so keep an eye on that.
Ties That Bind
You get this by seeing all Friendship Events.
The easiest way is to just befriend everyone. Toward the later part of the game, look at the map each month and check for rainbow icons, those mark event locations.
If you struggle, this becomes much easier in NG+ when you can boost starting affinity.
Walking Cookbook
You need to cook every dish, which is much easier in NG+.
Take bonuses like max cooking level and extra ingredients. Some items come from combat, tavern rewards, or even stealing at night.
Also, don’t ignore trash digging because the final dish needs specific failed-dig items.
Respected Collector
You need 100 different items, but they only count when they are in your inventory.
So the best approach is just buy everything you see. A big chunk of items comes from music/art you create, so you’ll naturally reach this if you’re doing other achievements.
Progress carries across playthroughs, so check the gallery to track it.
Well-Traveled
You need to go on every family trip, which is basically impossible in your first run.
You need high affinity with your daughter early on, which is why NG+ is important. With starting affinity boosts, you can begin traveling right away.
Just make sure you go on trips every season each year.
Warrior Princess
Defeat 200 enemies.
There’s some debate whether this carries across runs, but I ended up grinding it anyway.
Best method is farming the forest Stratum 3 where you get 17 enemies per run. Combine that with festival fights, night street fights, and crimson moon encounters, and it adds up quickly.
Queen of the Kitchen
Cook 50 times.
This is easy once you know what to do. Work at the bakery during the day and at night to gather flour and suspicious flour. Then just spam basic bread recipes.
If you max dough-making at night, you get 20 suspicious flour, which speeds things up a lot.
Ending-Related Achievements (Spoilers)
Two Queens
This can only be done in NG+.
You need to build max affinity with the queen. In Aug 900, she’ll ask for your help. Accept all requests and win the fight.
At the ending, choose the first option to get this achievement.
Forbidden Literary Explorer
This requires NG++.
After completing the queen route, you’ll get a special item that turns normal research into forbidden research.
Level it to 5, and you’ll unlock a hidden dungeon.
Inherit the Stars
This is the true ending.
After unlocking the hidden dungeon, clear it. Your previous ending partners will appear during the final fight to help, but don’t rely on them too much since they go down quickly.
Once you finish, choose to inherit the stars to trigger the ending.
Partner Endings
There are six characters, each with three achievements:
- Go out with them 5 times
- Reach max affinity
- Get their partner ending
Once a character hits 100 affinity, they become a candidate. You can actually have multiple candidates in one run, and whoever has the highest affinity at the end becomes your partner.
A really easy way to handle this is to save around Aug 900, keep affinities close, and then reload to get each ending one by one.
Roadmap
Here’s how I approached getting everything across multiple playthroughs.
First Playthrough
Just enjoy the game, but keep a few things in mind:
- Focus on one stat and push it to S+
- Pick a school that supports your stat
- Max one friend’s affinity for a partner ending
- Skip Bread Festival and donate to the lake for Divine Encounter
- Save often
You’ll probably get a mid-tier ending here.
Second Playthrough (NG+)
You should have around 200+ points to spend. I went with:
- High stamina and charm
- Starting money
- Some starting affinity
- Cooking bonuses
This run is where I focused on combat, cooking, and item collection.
Make sure to:
- Max queen affinity
- Participate in crimson moon fights
- Start working on trips
- Collect items and cook everything
Also aim for a different school this time.
Third Playthrough (NG++)
Now everything becomes much easier.
You’ll have enough points to boost almost everything, and this is where you should:
- Trigger all friendship and naughty events
- Max all stats
- Complete forbidden research
- Clear the hidden dungeon
By the end, you should have nearly everything done.
Cleanup Runs
If anything is left, it’s usually:
- Enemy kills
- Missed naughty events
At this point, it’s just grinding specific things like forest runs.
Honestly, this game isn’t that hard to 100%, but it’s very easy to miss things if you don’t plan ahead. Most of the tricky achievements just come down to timing, knowing where to look, or using NG+ properly.
If you keep track of events and don’t rush blindly, you’ll get everything without too much frustration.
