If you are building larger production lines in MineMogul, knowing the throughput of your machines and the selling price of different products can make a big difference. It is easy to build a production setup without realizing that one machine, sorter, or miner is becoming a bottleneck.
In this post, I will tell you about the processing rates of different machines, mining rates, coal requirements for steel production, unpacking speeds, sorter throughput, and the prices of products in MineMogul.
Most of the numbers below come from in-game testing, so some values may have small variations. However, they are still very useful when you are planning production lines and trying to balance how many machines you need.
I have also included information about gems, Cluster Breakers, Shaker Tables, Robot Arms, and polished products. Whether you are trying to improve your factory’s efficiency or simply want to know which products are worth more, these numbers should help you plan your setup.
MineMogul Machine Throughput and Product Prices Guide
The table below shows the approximate production and consumption rates of the different machines.
Keep in mind that these values are based on in-game testing and may contain slight errors.

When planning a production line, I recommend paying close attention to the consumption rate. A machine may produce items quickly, but if the machine feeding it cannot keep up, your entire setup can slow down.
There are also a few machines with extremely high processing speeds. The Ore Crusher can process ore almost instantly, at more than 480 raw ore per minute.
The Cluster Breaker also has a very high processing rate of around 75 clusters per minute.
The Polisher and Shaker Table should generally be able to handle all the ingredients provided to them as long as materials are not piling up too heavily.
The Packager is also extremely fast and can process more than 90 boxes per minute.
For the Unpackager, the processing speed depends on the item type, which I will explain in more detail below.
Mining Rates
The production rate of miners depends on both the miner you are using and the type of resource node it is placed on.
The table below shows the approximate mining rates for different miners and node types.

The values above are measured in items per minute.
Poor nodes produce around 50% metal ore and around 50% Coal Ore.
The values for the Rapid Auto-Miner with the Standard Drill Bit and Turbo Drill Bit are estimated based on the combined yield ratio of all node types compared with the Auto-Miner Mk.1.
The Rapid Auto-Miner with the Hardened Drill Bit can show greater fluctuations in its production rate. During longer testing, its output can vary noticeably.
If you are trying to calculate exactly how much ore your factory will receive, I recommend leaving some room for variation instead of designing everything around an exact number.
Required Coal for Steel Production
Steel production requires Coal Ore to keep the Casting Furnace running.
The amount of coal needed depends on what the furnace is producing.

These values are based on in-game testing and can have a certain margin of error.
One important thing to remember is that running the furnace at the exact minimum coal requirement may not always give you stable production. I recommend supplying a little extra coal and keeping some reserve available so your furnace does not constantly run into fuel problems.
Also, two Crushed Coal has the same fuel value as one Coal Ore.
Unpacking Rates and Box Capacity
The Unpackager’s throughput changes depending on the type of item inside the box.
The table below shows the approximate item processing rate, box processing rate, item volume, and how many items can fit inside each box.

Large items can move through the Unpackager differently from smaller items because the number of items inside each box changes.
For example, Crushed Ore has a very high item processing rate because each box can hold 100 items, while Pipes and Wire Coils take up much more space and only hold four items per box.
This is something worth keeping in mind if you are building a factory that relies heavily on packaged transportation.
Throughput of Sorters and Robot Arms
Sorters are another important part of a large MineMogul production line.
If your sorter cannot keep up with the materials coming through your conveyor system, items can begin to pile up and create problems elsewhere in the factory.
Conveyor and Roller Sorters
The Conveyor Sorter and Roller Sorter have approximately the same throughput.

The throughput of raw ore, crushed ore, and ingots was tested with both the Sorter Conveyor and Sorter Roller.
Some of the other materials were tested with only one type of sorter.
One thing I would keep in mind is that large items can be difficult to process at the maximum theoretical throughput. Plates, for example, can physically catch around the sorter input in a practical production line.
So while the table gives us a useful maximum rate, your actual factory may perform differently depending on how the items are positioned and moving on the conveyor.
Polished Sorter
The Polished Sorter can technically handle a very high number of items, exceeding 240 Ingots per minute.
However, physical clipping and collisions between items can significantly reduce how reliably it sorts them.
Because of this, it is difficult to give the Polished Sorter one exact practical throughput number.
From testing, a more realistic capacity is generally around 40 to 60 Ingots per minute.
If you are building a production line around the Polished Sorter, I would avoid assuming that it will consistently handle its theoretical maximum.
Robot Arm
Robot Arms can process up to approximately 54.9 items per minute.
However, this can vary by around ±2 items per minute depending on the type of items and how they are arranged on the input conveyor.
The physical layout of your factory can therefore affect the actual performance of Robot Arms.
Products From the Shaker Table
The Shaker Table can produce different materials depending on what you feed into it.
The table below shows the approximate probability of each product.

For Coal Ore, the approximate probability ranges were:
- Crushed Coal: 49.32% to 51.44%
- Ruby: 1.71% to 2.31%

For Crushed Coal, there is a small chance that the material is simply discharged as Crushed Coal again.
The ranges shown above represent a 95% confidence interval.
This information is useful if you are trying to estimate how much Coal, Ruby, or Diamond output you can expect from a Shaker Table setup.
Products From the Cluster Breaker
The Cluster Breaker can break Ore Clusters into multiple products.
The table below shows the average amount of each product obtained from one cluster.

Iron, Copper, and Gold Clusters mainly provide Ore and some Crushed Ore.
Coal Clusters are particularly interesting because they can also produce Diamonds, with an average output of around 0.10 Diamonds per cluster.
Price of Products
Knowing the selling price of products is important if you are deciding what materials to process and sell.
The actual selling price is multiplied by the product’s weight.

The prices can make a big difference when deciding which production chains you want to prioritize.
Wire Coils are particularly valuable compared with many of the earlier processed materials, especially when produced using Gold.
Polished Metal Prices
Polishing products can increase their value.

In most cases, polishing increases the value of the product.
However, the amount of profit you make will still depend on the resources and production setup needed to create the item.
Gem and Geode Prices
Gems can also be valuable products to sell.

Polishing significantly increases the price of many gems.
Celestite is one of the highest-value gems listed here, reaching a price of 260 when polished.
Diamonds and Rubies also receive a large increase in value after polishing.
Packaging Price Bonus
There is another thing worth remembering when selling products.
In version 1.3.3 and later, items packaged with the Packaging Machine receive a 5% price bonus.
The packaged item’s price is also set regardless of its weight.
This can be important when you are deciding whether packaging products is worth including in your production chain.
Final Thoughts
The numbers in this guide can be very useful when we are trying to build efficient production lines in MineMogul.
Personally, I would pay the most attention to machine consumption rates, miner output, sorter throughput, and the coal requirements for steel production. These are the things that can quickly create bottlenecks if we do not plan the factory properly.
The product prices are also useful when deciding which materials are worth processing further. Polished products and gems can sell for considerably more, while packaging can provide an additional price bonus.
Just remember that many of these values come from in-game testing, so there can be small variations. I recommend using them as a strong reference when planning your factory while leaving a little extra capacity in your production lines for more stable results.
