Voidling Bound Bleed Build – How to Break Void Strike

If you want a build that can tear through enemies in Void Strike, the Bleed setup is one of the most powerful options you can put together. The idea is simple: apply Bleed consistently, then use a couple of powerful Morfang passives to turn those Bleed stacks into huge damage and survivability.

Getting the finished build does take some breeding and splicing, so you will need to be fairly deep into the game before you can put everything together. Once you have the required voidlings and upgrades, though, the build becomes extremely strong.

In this guide, I’ll explain what you need, how to breed the voidling, which passives make the build work, and how the whole strategy comes together in Void Strike. The setup was originally tested on normal difficulty, so keep in mind that higher difficulties can behave differently.

Voidling Bound Bleed Build – How to Break Void Strike

Before starting, make sure you have access to the following:

• Base Morfang — Found through eggs on the third planet.
• Executioner Morfang — Obtained through the Fire evolution tree.
• Transfusion Morfang — Also obtained through the Fire evolution tree, using the alternative branch.
• Splicing — Unlocked around halfway through the story.
• Spliced Breeding — Requires at least Wrangler Level 45.

I also recommend unlocking as many of Henry’s late-game upgrades as possible. These upgrades can give you 100% stat transfer to offspring, which makes the breeding process much easier.

The better Gym upgrades are also worth having because they let you level your voidlings to 20 faster. The later upgrades can be expensive, with some costing more than 10,000 Genetic Material, but they can save you a lot of time if you plan to build strong voidlings.

How the Bleed Build Works

The main idea behind this setup is to combine Bleed with two Morfang passives:

• Fatal Wound
• Transfusion

These two abilities complement each other extremely well.

The first one is responsible for turning Bleed into a finishing tool, while the second gives you healing based on the damage your Bleed deals.

The result is a voidling that can deal massive damage over time while recovering health at the same time.

Why Fatal Wound Is So Powerful

The Fatal Wound passive is the main reason this build can become so ridiculous.

When an enemy affected by Bleed reaches 50% HP or lower, Fatal Wound can outright kill it.

Against regular enemies, this can make fights extremely short. Once you get Bleed onto an enemy and bring its health down far enough, Fatal Wound can finish it without requiring you to keep attacking normally.

Bosses work a little differently because they have much larger health pools.

Instead of necessarily dying from a single trigger, bosses can lose large chunks of HP when the effect activates. You will see the red Morfang maw animation appear above the enemy when Fatal Wound triggers.

Against high-HP bosses, the animation can appear repeatedly as the effect continues to activate until the boss dies or your Bleed stacks expire.

That is what makes the build so effective in Void Strike.

What Transfusion Does

The second important passive is Transfusion.

Transfusion heals your voidling for 25% of the damage dealt by the Bleed damage-over-time effect.

This becomes especially strong when you have multiple enemies affected by Bleed.

Instead of healing from just one target, you can spread Bleed across several enemies and recover health from the damage they are taking.

In the right situation, this makes it extremely difficult for enemies to kill you because your Bleed damage is constantly feeding health back into your voidling.

Choosing the Third Passive

You have some flexibility with the third passive.

It does not need to be another part of the Bleed setup, so you can choose something that fits your preferred playstyle.

The build used in the original setup has Immolation as the third passive.

Immolation gives enemies a Fire status in addition to Bleed, which adds another source of damage and status effects.

You do not have to copy this choice, though. If you have another passive that fits your build better, you can use it instead.

How to Get the Right Morfang Passives

You need two specific evolved Morfangs for the setup.

Executioner Morfang

Executioner Morfang provides the Fatal Wound passive.

You can obtain it through the Fire evolution tree.

Transfusion Morfang

Transfusion Morfang provides the Transfusion passive.

It comes from the alternative Fire evolution branch.

You essentially want these two evolved Morfangs so that you can work their passives into your final breeding setup.

Getting a Neutral Bleed Voidling

The original method for creating this build relied on breeding a spliced voidling with a neutral voidling because of how Neutral status attacks interacted with Bleed.

However, this method is no longer the preferred approach.

As of Build Release-76956, the game was updated so that you can now use splicing to obtain the Neutral type directly.

This means you no longer need to use the older breeding workaround just to create a Neutral spliced voidling.

If you are following an older version of this build, keep that change in mind.

Why Neutral Type Helps

The reason Neutral is useful for this build is that Neutral attacks that apply a status can inflict Bleed.

That gives you a consistent way to activate the two Morfang passives.

Once Bleed is being applied reliably, Fatal Wound and Transfusion can do the heavy lifting.

There are exceptions and other ways to apply Bleed, though, so Neutral is not the only possible route.

Other Ways to Inflict Bleed

You can apply Bleed through other abilities and passives as well.

Chillblain Anami

The Chillblain Anami passive can apply 5 Bleed when an enemy is affected by Frostbite Stun.

This makes it an interesting option for a Cryogenic-focused build.

Bed Bug Packuran

The Bed Bug Packuran passive can apply 5 Bleed when an enemy is inflicted with Sleep.

So if you are already building around Sleep, this can give you another way to incorporate Bleed without relying on Neutral attacks.

There may be additional passives and voidling-specific abilities that can apply Bleed as well, so it is worth checking your available abilities if you are experimenting with different builds.

Recommended Catalyzers

Catalyzers are not strictly required for the build to work, but they can make a huge difference.

For this setup, prioritize status-related Catalyzers.

You can also consider adding:

• At least one HP Catalyzer
• At least one Armor Catalyzer
• A Speed Catalyzer

The exact combination depends on your voidling and what you are struggling with.

If you do not have these Catalyzers yet, do not worry. The build can still work without them, especially once your stats and passives are properly set up.

The Catalyzers simply make the setup more effective and can help you reach the point where you can farm the upgrades you need.

How to Play the Bleed Build

Once your voidling is ready, the basic strategy is straightforward.

First, focus on applying Bleed to your enemies.

Once Bleed is active, its damage-over-time effect starts working. This is important because Transfusion uses that damage to restore your health.

As the enemy’s HP drops, keep the Bleed stacks active.

When an affected enemy reaches 50% HP or less, Fatal Wound can trigger and finish it.

Against groups, try to spread Bleed across multiple enemies whenever possible. The more enemies taking Bleed damage, the more opportunities Transfusion has to heal you.

This creates a simple loop:

Apply Bleed → deal DoT damage → heal through Transfusion → reduce enemy HP → trigger Fatal Wound → repeat.

Why the Build Is So Strong in Void Strike

The strength of this setup comes from the fact that offense and defense are tied together.

You are not simply applying Bleed for damage.

The Bleed damage also provides healing through Transfusion, while Fatal Wound turns the same status effect into a powerful execution mechanic.

That means enemies can become easier to kill as the fight continues, while your own survivability improves as long as you keep applying Bleed.

It is particularly effective against annoying enemies and bosses that would normally take much longer to bring down.

Void Strike Difficulty

This setup was originally tested with normal difficulty in mind.

If you are playing on a higher difficulty, your results may differ because enemy health and other scaling can change how quickly the build reaches its execution threshold.

Also, Void Strike received changes in Build Release-76956, including changes to enemy health scaling.

Because Fatal Wound becomes especially valuable against enemies with large health pools, those changes can make the Bleed setup even more interesting for the current version of the mode.

Final Build Summary

For a simple overview, the finished setup revolves around these pieces:

• Morfang as the base for the build
• Neutral typing or another reliable way to apply Bleed
• Fatal Wound from Executioner Morfang
• Transfusion from Transfusion Morfang
• A flexible third passive, such as Immolation
• Status-focused Catalyzers
• Strong HP, Armor, and Speed stats where needed
• Spliced Breeding unlocked
• Strong breeding and stat-transfer upgrades

Once everything is in place, the strategy is simple: keep Bleed active and let the passives do the work.

Fatal Wound handles enemies once they fall low enough, while Transfusion keeps your voidling healthy through the damage-over-time effect. Against groups, spreading Bleed can make the healing especially effective.

It takes some work to breed the finished voidling, but once you have the right combination, Void Strike becomes much easier to handle.
